Go early because they close at 9:00 pmand about 8:30 the cooks won't cook the dine in visitors their food because they say they are cooking for the call in's and that's not right, but if you can get a meal it's the best in Vivian LA. I hope the owner Sam reads this and change the cooks policy.
Visiting from DFW area- had the 2-2-2 special (catfish, jumbo shrimp, chicken) with dirty rice and red beans & rice and $12.99! Wow! So delicious! The people are wonderful- so friendly and kind. Highly recommend you don’t get distracted by the casino next door! They even had birthday cake for my friend!

I have went here on and off for many many years...the food was the best in the area back then and still is now. Everything there somehow tastes the same as it did years ago. It may not seem like it but that is a very good thing in this case. To eat there is worth a drive, we do it. If you like seafood and good food its a good place to go. Don't be weak in the sauce either....get some fried oysters (if you like them) you will thank me. ;)
