Honestly the food is good. It doesn’t matter though if when you go into this place the staff act ignorant about what they offer and how to treat customers. The server acted like she had no idea they sell tacos. Like I’m the first person to ever walk in and ask for tacos.“Tacos?” She asked me confused. Then she made me guess at what kind of tacos they had. After I asked for Birria (which they DON’T have) and then al pastor ( which they DON’T have either) I said, “okay well so you have a menu can look at?”It was like I had to guess what they had for sale. There is almost no parking. Like three spots out front and one of them is handicap parking only.I think she treated me like an idiot because of my race. I hate when this happens. It’s like they don’t want me in there. Like I’m bothering them because I don’t speak Spanish. The food is very expensive. It cost me 20 dollars for four tacos.I got two boxes so I figured, oh well they must have rice and beans and all the fixings.Nope… I didn’t even get limes. There were two tacos in each box with two extra corn tortillas. For twenty dollars. Oh, they had nasty avocado on them that I took off because it was brown and had black spots.I really did hope for a good experience and the food was okay. But not worth the money and the place made me feel uncomfortable.I’ll keep going to my regular joint from now on. I hope y’all put some time and effort into customer service, because you don’t have it.

Met an old friend there for lunch there while traveling through Monroe and have to say this place is a hidden gem! I ordered the Steak Tacos and large Latin Coffee and both were absolutely fantastic! The tacos are some of the best I've every had, and I've had a lot of great ones living in Texas! Don't miss the Latin Coffee too, it is so good! Also, the owner was so kind to us! I'll definitely be stopping anytime I'm passing through Monroe! Highly recommend!

Fast, delicious, reasonably-priced, clean and authentic.Interior is spacious, quiet and recently renovated.Staff are polite and responsive - Pamela and Yarli helped us.Our pupusas + fajitas were the bomb. Love the fresh-made corn tortillas. Love the Honduran items you won't find in normal Tex-Mex joints like mashed black beans and fried plantains.
I recently went to this place for the first time with my friend for breakfast. I had the Typical Hondoran Breakfast with the skirt steak and over easy eggs.Everything from the coffee to the refried beans was the most amazing thing I had ever put in my mouth and I had to stop and wonder aloud to my friend if I had survived the drive to the restaurant because no food on Earth could ever be quite so good. He assured me that I was indeed alive.

We travel across the country quite a bit and this is one of our favorite places to eat. We always stop when we are passing through Monroe. It is locally owned and sometimes there is a bit of a language barrier but the staff is always friendly and the food is always excellent. My favorite is the Honduran Dinner (steak, eggs, sweet plantains, rice & beans, avocado, cheese, and creme with white corn tortillas) and the coffee. We also get the chicken tacos, shrimp tacos, fish tacos, pupusas, and burgers. We haven’t found a dish we didn’t like yet.
Got tovtry their soups!
