Got a happy plate based on a suggestion, but they no longer subbed vegetables for rice. So I got a side of fajita vegetables and it was perfect.

This is a new review because they have had time to get thier act together. The place is OK and durring the day fine for families. I hear some good to great music coming from the live bands at night. The food is passable but nothing worth gioing out of your way. The red sauses taste more like what I would find in an OK Italian restarant with a heavy tomato flavor. The meats are bland. My wife had Diablo Shrimp and you could barely taste the spice. Those with mobility issues are going to face some challenges. The place faces the road and not their parking lot. (they do not even put a sign on the door that faces the lot saying it is the wrong door). YOu must go all around the building to get in. Street parking is available but the curb is high. Finally, only one main entrance door is unlocked so a person in a wheel chair must negotiate a narrow space. All in all, I will be heading to the Hasienda in Brousard when I want some Mexican.

I've only been twice. Once inside, everything was great, the food, service, everything about this location. The 2nd time we sat outside, there was an amazing live band that night, and again, we thoroughly enjoyed our experience.

Great place. Great food.It is a bit too loud with the live bands... If u can't hear the person across the table from you, it's too loud. Otherwise a good spot.

Never fails every time we come to this location it's always a bad experience. From service to food, waiters always standing around socializing, slow service, and this will be the last time here. West Pinhook location is 1000 times better.

My family has tried El Paso multiple times. The restaurant and service is great, however each time the food has not been good. The atmosphere is wonderful but we won’t be trying again.

The staff were very nice and helpful. Tableside guacamole was made to order and was delicious. Cheese with meat and salsa were good. Chips were warm and crispy. Chicken flautas were ok. El organica margarita was superb! Great restaurant.
