I had never been to Jarreau’s but I had an order to deliver from there. While they went to get the food, the crawfish balls were staring me in the face! They smelled so good!!! After I made my delivery, which smelled heavenly, I went back! Those crawfish balls went straight in my belly! ?? I’m going back tomorrow to get some more!!! I’m so glad I went back! I definitely recommend this place! And those crawfish balls!

We were in town for a graduation at Southern University and found this restaurant. What an amazing place to eat! The food was sooo good and hot! Seasoned just right! The owner and staff were very nice, but owner was very engaging! His daughters crawfish ball recipe was terrific! the hamburger my son ordered was on point Not to mention.... I could go on and on! Just go! only drawback was that a few customers stared at us withholding a smile or nod. We are from Dallas with a mixed crowd.

I have passed by this place a million times while traveling through the area. and decided to stop in. Food was great! Waitress was pleasant but never came back to out table even had to ask for the bill. (The other waitress did seem to on her game) But I definitely will be back.

Went for the first time today. The food was absolutely amazing! Our ball players loved the chicken and salads, shrimp poboy was on point on that real New Orleans bread, I had the pepper glazed grilled chicken with sweet potato casserole and it was to die for. Definitely will be back! Thanks for a great meal

The food is always amazing. The owner and staff are friendly. And I feel at home there. I'm cajun. And moved here 2 yrs ago when I got married. So that place feels like home to me. LOVE IT

So I literally I just finished eating. Soooo did the food take a salt bath, cause OMG the salt was to much. I couldn’t joy the food. May if I go next time I’ll ask for no salt.
I don’t say this often! This restaurant is amazing! Jammin Catfish has some of the best stuffing I’ve ever had! Burger lights out, all fried food crazy good. Pepperjack boudin balls wow. I’m from Lafayette and would welcome these folks in Lafayette to compete.

This was my first time trying anything here. I drove 30 minutes for a well done Jarreau burger and a combo with bbq on the side (with 2 other orders). I get back to work to eat it and I can still hear the cow when I took the first bite, I cut it open and the meat is pink/red. I called and immediately got placed on hold when they answered, I was on hold for 10 minutes before I hung up and called back. Taking it back, somebody is gonna address this.

Very good boudin. I didn't try the smoked but if it's half as good as the regular it it very good also. The crackling are traditional with salt only, the way they should be. I WILL be visiting them frequently!

We were traveling and the hotel was close to this restaurant. We were interested in Cajun food. The reviews were decent so we gave it a try. Big mistake! We had Red Beans and rice, just ok. The corn bread was dry. The Catfish fingers were so tiny to barely be a few bites. My biggest complaint is being charged for ice water. How many times have you been charged for ice water served in the restaurant’s glass, not a to-go cup? Don’t go to this chintzy restaurant. The bright spot was the waitress.
