I was shocked to find this beautiful restaurant in an area of that I hadn’t visited in quite some time. Don’t skip out on this restaurant. The service was great and the food was excellent.

Had dinner with family from out of town around 4 in the evening. There were 10 of us in all and they were quick to accommodate us all. Our server was T. A., and he did a really great job. His attentiveness towards ensuring we had a great dining experience was superb!Vegetarian options: Fried Catfish ?!Brisket & Pulled Pork combo, lawd have mercy it was Good y'all!!
We were working in the area and stumbled across South Plains. Good thing we did! The atmosphere was really cool. Reminded me of a really nice cabin in Colorado. No wait time to be seated. We ordered a few drinks and had a hard time deciding what we wanted to get. Everything sounded so good. We went with the fried mushrooms as an appetizer. We were expecting some small button mushrooms but when they came out, WOW! They were massive. Stuffed with boudin and cream cheese. Also got the Yardbird fries. Entree was the ribeye with veggies and onion rings. Everything we ordered was amazing and well seasoned. For dessert, we got the brownie with ice cream. Too bad we live over 200 miles away or I would visit here more often. I definitely recommend you stopping by and give this place a try. You won't regret it!

this place is GREAT!!! This was the first time I went to this place and I was very impressed. We got 3 entrées, brisket, blackened fish pasta and blackened chicken. They were all excellent. They have the best ceasar dressing. I would go there for the ceasar salad alone. I wish I had pictures of the food. I plan on going to this restaurant until I eat everything on the menu. Next I'm gonna try the boudin egg rolls.

Very welcoming atmosphere, we were sitted immediately. It was an early Saturday afternoon. We had appetizers and a small salad. We waitress checked on us as we dined. I'm definitely going back.

Went on a Friday evening and it was slammed. First time there, and a 20 min wait, but very worth it. Three of us, for appetizers we had the brunch bread, were well seasoned and very delicious. Entrees were the fried fish, brisket, and chicken pasta. All were great. The sides were delicious too, I especially liked the potato salad.It was worth the short wait, would definitely do again. Big thanks to Jared for the referral.

Wonderful experience! We had our son’s rehearsal dinner at South Plains Food company. The event took place on the Patio. Paige and all of the staff working with us were wonderful. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. The food was great.I would highly recommend visiting this restaurant

Very loud atmosphere - interior is nice but not designed for sound dampening, so be prepared to yell across the table if you want any dinner conversation. Food is ok - but in a weekend be sure to be an early bird because after 6 popular items will be sold out. The spinach and artichoke dip is fantastic, but last 3 trips not available after 6pm. Similar for house salad dressing, sparkling water, and even butter knives! Staff is always friendly and apologetic, but needs more organization before I would recommend for dinner. Lunch is nice..Edit 3/2, 14:00 - food taste is excellent, and the spinach dip was available! But… no plates for the appetizer. “All dirty, hoping to get some washed soon”. Kind of ridiculous.

Clean restaurant and facilities. Staff was friendly although the hostess was kind of reluctant to give me a table at first since I was by myself, asking me if I’d like to sit at the bar instead, but she did accommodate me. Boudin egg rolls are good. The brisket was a bit tough, and under seasoned.
