We had Mother's Day brunch at Abington Ale house. There was a lot of food and desserts to choose from. The hostess were very nice , the food was delicious especially the prime rib , roasted veggies and French toast casserole. The atmosphere was t overly crowded but it was very welcoming. Our waitress was very observant , extremely friendly and prompt. I hope to see more brunches at Ale house because it was definitely worth it!!

Made a reservation for 5. We were placed right next to the door. I hate sitting right next to the door at any restaurant. I think of it like obstructed view at an event - a cheaper seat. You are on display to every single person coming & going. If I went through the effort of making a reservation at your not busy restaurant, please put us at a better spot. Also, given a booth, a booth that fits 4 comfortably, maybe a child also. But not 5 adults. My relative arrived before us and accepted the booth unfortunately and we didn't want to make a fuss. Waitress was great for first half of our meal. Then non-existent. We would have ordered dessert but took so long for her return after we completed eating, we were all antsy. It was an hour and 15 minutes (nobody had salad or apps). We asked for check. She brought it and took card and again took forever to return to the point where half our group left for the car. Like I said, we were squished and done by that point. I've been before years ago. Food was good. Noise level fine. Decor same as it's been since 15 years ago at least.

Our group had our own room and we were early the bartender was extremely cheerful and attentive. John Brown handled our buffet which was wonderful chicken Parm, noodles and red sauce,Lasagna and sausage and peppers along with rolls and antipsto salad and all the condiments. John was attentive to our beverage and all our other needs and provided us with food take home containers. This is a great place for a family gathering and Blanchard Funeral Home had recommended and we highly recommend both of them also!

Easter Buffet food was not great. Chicken, and potatoes were overcooked & dry. Pasta, veggies, and fish were bland / tastless. Desserts were dry and stale. Breakfast food seemed ok, but I skipped those choices. Service was decent.

The manager just went WAY out of his way to accommodate 2 people who have good allergies including coming up with a version of Sheppard pie that could be eaten by one of the guests. They could have just said " oh you can't have that" but instead said " What can we do to make this great!" So happy we

Came here with a large group and service was fantastic! Our server was phenomenal. He checked in frequently and continued refills on drinks. Even with our large order, food came out in good time. Everything we tried was amazing. We will definitely be back again!

Perfectly decent ale house. Stay away from the more expensive dishes and order the midrange like burgers or the Mac and cheese. Service was good but waiters get huge sections which leaves them very busy and hard to catch. Atmosphere was nice but a bit dated.
