Svenfish is the best if you want to fresh fish! I have been subscribing weekly to Svenfish’s ‘large Captain’s Choice’ for the longest time now and I have never been disappointed! Delivery to my door every Friday, customer care and service are always pronto, pricing is incredible … what’s not to like or ❤️?! Svenfish’s routes affect where I will move to in the event when I move — that’s how good Svenfish is! ?

Sometime buying a the supermarket or even a local fish store, the fish is not real fresh. Svenfish seems to pay attention to the idea of fresh fish. Not only do they have good fish, I look for specialty items like Cod cheeks, which I love cooking with (Shhh keep it a secret they get them occasionally). Prices are mid to high, but it is worth the special attention to freshness. The store is hard to see from the road, look for the little sign and park out back.

We have been getting seafood delivered from Svenfish for several years. Delivery is consistently on time. Fish is extremely fresh and well-packed in tight, ice-filed cooler. The variety is wonderful. And among their other offerings are some delicious, prepared, oven-ready fish dishes.

I absolutely love this concept fresh fish delivered to your door. That kind of service is worth a premium price however, despite what their website says, they called me after the second order to say I shouldn't have been able to place an order as they do not deliver to my town but they would send it Fedex. What arrived was not fresh but rather frozen solid. Once defrosted some was very fresh and some had a strong noticeable odor. The part of this service that made it unique was the fresh fish part there are several companies that service my town with frozen fish Delivered to your door. Bottom line they don't offer me anything more than I can get at Whole Foods and the fish at my local Whole Foods always smells fresh. Basically a 5 star concept with a 3 star execution.
