I went on a weekday and there was no line. Ordered a mango pomelo sago drink and it cost $9! Pretty expensive for a medium size drink, nothing special. There is no parking lot here.

They have sweet rice drinks and yogurt/fruit flavored drinks. Although, they don't offer boba, they go for a more traditional and less sweet taste. The sour yogurt brings me back home to the taste of the yogurt I used to have back in Beijing. I wish Yomie's was more centralized in Allston with the other businesses, but glad they are in Boston nevertheless.

I was very pleasantly surprised as to how good this was. I got the yogurt and oatmeal and purple rice one. They were both goood! The oatmeal one has a nice texture to it if you're looking for something to chew with your drink. They both tasted healthy too! I can't wait to come back and try more.

Love the fresh ingredients that are used. The combinations of flavors are quite impressive. In my opinion the combination of rice with yogurt is a bit too thick for me. It is a good alternative as a light meal. The store is very small but have two small tables so it's quite enough space to hang out but better as a take out joint.

Originating from Australia, Yomie's Rice & Yogurt has expanded throughout Asia and into the United States, first in California and subsequently to the East Coast, where there's a location in Allston, which opened just a couple months back. Enter into this franchise and just order off from the kiosk and within minutes you'll get your order. Although there are a couple small tables in a space the size of a small porch, the yogurt is meant to be on-the-go. Valued for its healthfulness and probiotics, yogurt and purple rice aids digestion and absorption of certain nutritious vitamins and minerals for a healthy gut biome. We ordered the signature Purple Rice Yogurt and the Passionfruit and as soon as we inhaled an amount through a straw, we were greeted by lots of rice that needed chewing and felt more like a meal, like a very thick congee. I enjoyed the Purple Rice more than the Passionfruit as the latter's bit of sourness didn't work well with me. Definitely something to try if you're interested for anything off the beaten path.
