We went upstairs to sit but the free tables weren't too approachable to use b/c a handful of unattended small children running around and had the run of the place, jumping from table to table, with their parents paying no attention or corralling them to their own family's table. The wait staff noticed but didn't help either. We waited a few minutes, then left and went to an other brewery. On our way downstairs, there were to men and one guy asked "where's your kid?" he replied, "I don't know, upstairs running around, long as not bugging me, I'm good." I've no problem with children but when parents let their kids treat an establishment like a playground, it ruined it 100%. Maybe will try it again and hope it's not the usual

Outrider is the perfect spot. The beer is always delicious with fun new brews on menu regularly. The food is classic comfort food, but always with a fresh twist. The chowder is a favorite. Good vibes, fun events, no TVs blasting, this is our favorite Amesbury spot!

Stopped in to Outrider Beer Company after visiting Cider Hill and we are so glad we did. The service was amazing and the beer and food was perfect on a gloomy day. They have a great selection of board games and a great view in the back of their brewery.

Don't even bother. The beers are just ok, although the variety leaves a lot to be desired, but the atmosphere is as lame as you can imagine. Behind the bar there's a giant lit up "marquis" similar to one in a movie theatre lobby with all of their brew names on it, and that's all you have to look at, period, no TV's, no entertainment, just the big lit up marquis, there's literally nothing else to keep your interest but that damned stupid damned marquis. This is just one of many breweries in Amesbury, all the others have some way to keep people interested and staying there, not this place, apparently they want you to sit for a beer or maybe two at most, and then leave, to find a place that knows how to actually cater to their customers. ALL the other breweries in town do a damned good job of trying to keep people interested, not this place. I just don't get it, and have heard that same comment multiple times from other patrons around me. I will not go back there.
