As with other review the service is horrible. The one bartender was overwhelmed. The need at least two bartenders on a Saturday.

The Barn offers an entirely separate gluten free menu, including some cider and beer! The potato skins and veal parmesan were very good! The service was fast and friendly. This was my first time here. I walk in, I have no idea if I seat myself or wait for a host. We figured out to just grab a seat anywhere. Our waitress was very nice.The food was not good. We both ordered chicken broccoli Alfredo with ziti. It tasted like it was a frozen dinner. I was surprised at how much it tasted like a frozen dinner. I almost wanted to ask, but I liked the waitress. It’s too bad because I like to support restaurants in Amesbury but that dish I ordered was awful.

Fabulous unpretentious spot for a great draft beer and burger! The service is outstanding and everyone was so friendly and accommodating! We went for their $10 burger nights on Mondays. Wow! What a great burger!! Thank you, Leslie for being such a wonderful server and to the man who made our burgers- we say "thank you" too! We will definitely be back!

We found this place and took a chance last Wednesday night. What a great place to grab some comfort food and drinks. We even got desert to go and the bill came to $66. That included two drinks (margaritas), appetizer, two meals, and lava cake to go. Really great food and love the atmosphere too!

First time eating here. Was pleased to see they had a separate Gluten free menu (I'm Celiac). The food was delicious. I had a grilled chicken sandwich on a GF bun. We also shared a delicious RUM bucket. Very tasty! Will be back!
Place was ok, was far from busy when we went. It was clean and well maintained. The food was good and came out hot. Service was mediocre, server wasn’t rude, just not very friendly. Almost gave service one star, but the bar tender looked happy to be there and seemed to be friends with everyone who sat at the bar. Wish we would have sat at the bar.

Stopped in for a quick lunch. Immediately greeted by a sour puss who was not happy that we requested outdoor seating. There is no river view as claimed. We had about 3 seconds to look at the menu before the waitress aggressively came over to take order. It did arrive promptly however we were attacked by a swarm of yellow jackets and had to ask to come inside where we were promptly forgotten about. Took 7 years to get a bill which was incorrect and belonged to someone else. And then to top it all off - charged us for a more expensive salad to which I promptly just paid for it so I could leave this establishment. Never again.
