Very clean. Food is really delicious, the tacos are really great. Fresh made chips and house made salsa are awesome. Queso dip amazing. Sangria is really really good. Chef Elvis and Chef Chris are excellent owners and so hospitable! Really nice outdoor patio too!

If you are looking for great drinks and espectacular food this restaurant is a gem !! We had the calamari as an appetizer it was the best I have ever had !! We shared the rib( meat falling off the bone) and chicken and it was so delicious. The service was great and the owners could not be more friendly and accommodating. We will be coming back . Loved it !!

Very nice service nice seats and a very lovely meal. Loved all of it. Will go again. Sat looking out the window to down town I enjoyed watching everything going on outside. Highly recommend.

We went here on the suggestion of a friend. The food was good. A little too spicy for my usual palette but the creme frais helped soothe that down. The dessert we got was a very lovely bread pudding with rum, which we enjoyed thoroughly. The sangria was amazing. And the monitor was quite good too.

Finally stopped in the other evening and very impressed! Food was eclectic, service friendly and really enjoyed meeting chef/owner Elvis. Really great to dine somewhere that really cares about your food and the whole experience. Will certainly be back. Many more items to try and hope I can push past the ribs and pupusas (so good) and try some other tasty delights.

Wow!!! What a gem of a restaurant!!The food was so awesome. The flavors were big and bold without being overly salty. The ingredients were super fresh tasting while the meal was still reasonably priced. Every time I come I leave fully satisfied and full.The atmosphere is cozy and has a great ambiance. I loved chatting with the chef who clearly takes pride in his craft. I also love how friendly and accommodating the hostess, Shanna, always is.If you’re in the area and are hungry you w definitely need to stop in! I usually go for the beef burrito but have loved everything I’ve tried so far.Thanks again to the entire team at The Coop!See you soon!

Elvis treats all of customers like they are regulars. He took the time out of his dinner rush to talk to us about his career as a chef and talk in depth about the menu he created. Every item we have tried so far has been a favorite. The Coop very quickly became our #1 take out/date night/“idk” go-to restaurant in the Greater Newburyport area. The Coop has something for every level of foodie, and is a must for anyone north of Boston.
The food here is always delicious and fresh, and the owner always makes sure everyone is happy. They were very short staffed tonight but everyone did their best and still put out a great meal. We don't mind waiting for such good food. Will definitely continue to return!

I live in town and have been to The Coop before but haven't been in probably five or so years. After eating here recently I don't know what took me so long to go back! Food is out of this world delicious. Ingredients are fresh and offerings range from basic tacos to more exotic coxinha. We sat outside on the patio which was charming with lights and wonderful plantings and a small water fountain. It felt very like we were in a t country! Go here go here go here!

Four of us went to dinner Saturday early evening. Outstanding food, one couple split the half chicken and ribs and the others had the burrito and fish tacos. The owner/chef stopped at our table to make sure all was well. This place is most highly recommended!
