Discreetly nestled away in downtown Amesbury, Wise House is definitely not your run of the mill coffee shop. If you’re looking for a modern, bright and airy coffee shop with bubbly baristas, this is not the place for you. But if you like a coffee shop with character, a little bit of sass, and great coffee, I highly recommend Wise House. We tried the chocolate rain, which was absolutely delicious and enjoyed the spunk the barista and decor of the shop has to offer.

Excellent coffee! The location is a bit hard to find at first, but is a dive bar, so it's a hidden gem. Ambiance is eclectic and cool. Wish I could have stayed and sat inside, but was on the road traveling home. Was greeted by a cute little Boston Terrier and a laid back, friendly barista.

I have driven by this place every day for the last 2 years without knowing it was there. Found it on Google and decided to go. This is HANDS DOWN best coffee in Amesbury. Walter and company are great and my family and I will be back multiple times a week.Much love - Dave the new dad ??

Best coffee shop in the area! The chocolate rain is a must try. They also roast their own beans to take home.

Interesting wee hole in the wall coffee joint. Small, dark, mostly painted in black. A few seats that regulars seem to enjoy hanging out at, listening to music, doing crosswords and chatting. Kind of like the feeling you get when sitting in an old fashioned barber shop. Some folks there to grab a coffee. Others there to while away a free hour over a good coffee and some chit chat. The coffee is lovely. Granted I only ever grab a cortado, but that guy is always spot on. The coffee can take a few minutes to prepare as it seems to be a one man operation. The hours are very short. Usually closed by noon. I hope they stick around though. Not the only option in the town for coffee, but definitely has carved a niche in the local market

I've been there once, so, I can only base it off that. One guy making coffee. Took awhile. There was a child roaming around. More importantly there was a free range bulldog also roaming around. There was a guy playing piano and another playing base guitar. It was chaos. 10/10 would go back, ice latte SLAPS
