I used to go to Antonios for years but they’ve really been on the decline. Pizza quality has taken a massive hit, service was always iffy, and of course the inside is not at all ideal to dine in but that’s not the appeal of Antonio’s. The appeal is delicious pizza that’s made well.Well, I went yesterday and the pizza was floppy sloppy, poorly assembled, poorly baked.On top of it, they always insist on cramming as much pizza they can into one box. I was watching the staff do this to my 6 slices and politely asked for two boxes. She agreed but proceeded to grab two SMALL boxes and just cram them in again. When I got home, the ingredients were all over the place, stuck to plates, stuck to the box lid, falling off. To add insult to injury, they didn’t even give me the slices I asked for. Boooooo Antonio’s. Booo! Do better! You can’t coast on your name for ever and think drunk college kids are gonna keep you afloat. Have some pride.

I’ve gotten a pepperoni slice a few times and it’s amazing but I always feel like it just needs a tad bit more salt so I sprinkle a tiny bit on top and it really elevates the slice.

Just went in today to get an extra large beef taco pizza for my family I visit often when my fiancé was Enrolled at UMass about a few years back Always good vibes the workers was always friendly but this guy I think he totally ignored me and my daughter in the store Mind you I placed an online order so my food was already ready to watch the workers behind him bring up multiple boxes of pizza and sat them down so I know one of them had to be mine He dealt with his other customers which was only two of them in the store and then after that he still proceeded to ask them do they need anything or do they want anything never address me and my daughter for about a few moments or so after a awkward silence Then he proceeded to act oblivious like he didn’t know if there was any orders there for me and it was sitting right by him and then he said oh here you go. Its been a while since I went to Antonio since my fiancé graduated but this was the worst experience I’ve ever had definite didn’t feel comfortable and don’t know if I would want to go back there again And this is crazy because I never experienced nothing like this in Amherst Prior before.

Pizza place, as it should be in a college town. Bustling, happening, loud, cramped, warm & ambrosial (to me at least!). If you are too hungry, most definitely you will burn your tongue. But that will not reduce the joy a single bit. Unless, it's a godforsaken awful day, you will always find the serving is one of the best you ever had.
This place was a staple for my wife when she went to UMass. As the old saying goes, you can never go home again.They are still serving slices similar to her old faves, but she says they have definitely lost a step. That said, it's a slice joint and they have a very wide variety of toppings to satisfy any taste.

I have loved Antonio's since high school. Chicken parm is a classic. Black bean avocado doesn't disappoint. Lots of delicious specials. Move all the way in to order.
