Delicious Chinese food, especially in small town Amherst! The boiled fish in red chili stew was extremely flavorful and tender, as were the soup dumplings and potstickers. The minced pork with noodles is pure Chinese comfort food, and the same goes for the fried rice with Chinese sausage. Sauteed pea pod stems were cooked just right, and the vegetarian noodle soup satiated the dietarily-restricted. The only disappointment was the scallion pancake, which was very oily; however, I forgave that due to the other entrees being so amazingly wonderful. Service was very friendly and accommodating, and the ambience was appealing, modern, and clean. Highly recommend!!

I loved this place! It was my first time at a hot pot restaurant and I loved how our diverse party were each able to enjoy our unique eating restrictions and still have fun. The waiter was amazing and the atmosphere was calming and clean.

The food was ok, some misses - like their Cold Sessame Noodles which tasted like vinegar and shrimp dumplings that were forgetable. Spring rolls were ok. Service was awful - first he brough one menu for 2 people to look at, then hovered over table clicking his pen waiting for us to read, discuss, decide until I told him to give us a couple minutes to decide. After we got our food the waiter was non-existant when I needed more water and when I just wanted the bill. I always try to give a new place a second try but I will not hurry back to this place.

Chuan Jiao Bistro has amazing authentic Sichuan cuisine. I haven't had better Sichuan food since studying in Chengdu for a year. I would absolutely recommend the food there!

Authentic Chinese food! The place is nice and upscale, yet the price is quite reasonable. Definitely should try it if you haven't done so.

Their portion is very small and the rice is not cooked when served with the salted pepper squid.

The restaurant lied about their broth. I would never trust this restaurant again. The Chinese waiter told me it was vegetarian ( and I'm a native speaker so there's no way to miscommunicate) but the next time the white waiter told me they never have vegetarian broth. Then the Chinese waiter came out and confirmed that they lied before.

The food materials they use are not fresh, they used lots of seasoning to cover the unfresh taste. Prince is okay but not going back again.

This restaurant's wait staff had some of the most unprofessional, chaotic, and confusing employees I have ever experienced in my lifetime. Thankfully my husband and I weren't bothered too much by these people, but there were definitely others who were. There were two employees working, Pedro and John, who were just not acting professionally at all. They were constantly fighting, cursing, and making messes everywhere. There were many moments where I heard the workers saying inappropriate things like when one girl from a table to the left of me asked for the bathroom, the waiter replied with "pee in your friend's mouth"- yuck!! The prices for food were extremely high compared to the portions. The only words my mind can conjure to describe my evening are one big s*** show. You might as well be running a daycare.

Amazing food, not the most clear or understandable menu but great food and assortment of meats

Very authentic Szechuan food! I love the roast fish and the dry pot. Excellent service! Please be noted that the Szechuan food is supposed to be spicy. If you are Americans who cannot eat spicy, please take a detour and bring your "spicy lover" friends here.

Extremely unprofessional. We waited for 10 mins to be attended by a waitor. They didn't provide us any plates, paper towel and fork and no soup bowl for the hot pot. The food was extremely spicy when we mention to make it less spicy.
