I LOVE GINGER GARDEN. From the South Shore, we have the best Chinese food (ifykyk). Ginger Garden is the closest you're gonna get in the Amherst area. Ginger Garden never misses- very consistent. Whether you get take out or dine in, the food is always solid.

Service was ok. This is my second time here in the past two months. Both times it was just ok. No flavor to the fried rice. The chicken fingers and pork was just ok. The person I was with felt the same. His food was just ok. Does anyone get the feeling that the people that should care about a review don't read them and nothing changes???

This place can be uneven in the quality of the preparation of the food. Last time we went, I was so disappointed. I just don't understand why they would even serve someone dried out old duck when in the past it was pretty decent! And the cumin chicken was 80% undercooked onions. The thing is, some things here are great all the time, like the moo shu vegetable.And some traditional dishes are pretty great, although to be honest I've not had them many other places for comparison. The people are nice, and the ambiance is comfortable, if a bit dated.

Food is always good. Haven't had anything yet I didn't like. Food is fresh and hot when it comes to the table. The service is very very slow. Seems to understaffed. We waited 20 mins to place am order and there were only a few tables full. Prices are reasonable. Don't go if you are in a rush.

This is our favorite place to go for Chinese food. We come from far away because it's the best!Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs, wide entrance and walkways.

I enjoy the taste of the food , but this is the second time I've had a hair in my pork fried rice. There's nothing like pulling a hair out of a semi swallowed bite of food. It's obvious to me noone is using hair nets or having their hair pulled back .
