This sleepy college town housed a surprisingly numerous Chinese restaurant scene, among other Asian cuisines. This appeared to be the pick of the lot, offering authentic Northern-style items including noodles. The option to order a tofu stir-fry seemed appealing, and indeed several options were clearly marked as vegetarian and vegan. However, the signature dish is a fresh sort of noodle distinctive to the region, and I was seduced by the distinctively springy texture and fresh flavor. It took around fifteen minutes to make those noodles, and while I was on a schedule, it was worth waiting for fresh food.

Hi hopes when I walked in because it looked like an unpretentious "hole in the wall". This is usually an indicator that the focus is on the food. I ordered pork dumplings and scallion pancakes. Both were unsatisfactory. I ended up throwing them away at home. Maybe I ordered the wrong things?

Food is top notch hand pulled Asian noodles ! Enjoy the rustic environment and the rich aroma! Get take out in the warm months and enjoy the cozy table seats for cooler times. Anywhere you eat LiLi'a you will enjoy!!

First time visiting LiLi's today and it was incredible! The owners are so warm and friendly - we felt as if we were in their home and the food is cooked with love. Hand pulled noodles and dumplings were absolutely delicious. 10/10 we'll be back when we pass through town again!

LiLi's is hands down my favorite Asian restaurant in this area. The food is authentic (my Chinese mom gives it her seal of approval) and it's really dang good. Sometimes I come here when I feel homesick and it always makes me feel better. Their noodles cure my depression. It's a little small inside, but the staff are really nice. Personally I really like the biang biang noodles and the liangpi (pictured below) but everything is good. I have never tasted a bad dish here. Every time I come here, I have to spend minutes deciding what I want to get, because the food is just that baller.

I ordered #14. I have not had noodles this good for more than a decade. The noodles were freshly made by hand and you can see them being made from scratch in the kitchen. The beef toppings on the noddles melt in my mouth. Oh amazing!

The stewed pork combo was super rich. Flavorful but not in a "fake" way with chili's or salt. I've never had Chinese food this hearty - I feel full in that "Thanksgiving" sense. The pork tastes high qualityIs $14 a little higher? My opinion doesn't matter haha. What I will say is that for $14 you should expect the food to provide the type of rich experience to deserve it and Lilis food delivers.Usually Chinese places appeal to my desire for inexpensive but tasty and filling food while traveling - Lilis, I would go to specifically to treat myself, to treat someone else.That's a categorical difference that makes Lilis special - to me anyway! I'll probably come back when I'm around Amherst in the future.
