I've been here twice on two different trips to Amherst! Every dish was a delightful journey into the vibrant and complex flavors of Thai cuisine.Starting with the pumpkin curry, it was a rich and aromatic dish with the sweetness of the pumpkin complementing the warm Thai spices. A very comforting dish! I couldn't resist trying the Pad Thai, a classic Thai noodle dish, which did not disappoint! The Siam rolls, we're one of the crispiest things I've ever had! The contrast between the crunchy exterior and the tender, flavorful interior likely makes them irresistible appetizers. I regret eating them all in one sitting but I knew they would be good in a hotel microwave. The chicken coconut soup, made with a creamy coconut milk base, kaffir lime, tender chicken, mushrooms, and other herbs and spices infused the broth with layers of complex flavors, creating a comforting and aromatic soup that warms the soul. Lastly, the Thai-style basil chicken pan-fried dish was flavorful with tender chicken, aromatic Thai basil, bell peppers, onions, and chilies. This is also a staple of mine when visiting a Thai restaurant and I loved this one!The service is great, very quick, and polite! I will return here whenever my next trip to Amherst is!

The food here tasted like it had been made the day before and heated up in the microwave to be served to us. I mean, leftovers are good but when I'm at a restaurant I want a fresh tasting meal.

First time at Taste of Thai and I couldn't be more pleased with my experience. We had the shrimp tempura, the sumi duck, and the classic pad Thai. Everything was cooked to perfection and presented beautifully. Our server was attentive and the restaurant itself is magnificent. This restaurant is perfect for date night or any occasion. Can't wait to come back.

Best Thai food in the area, flavored correctly, spiced authentically and priced right. Curries are a go to with a stir fry noodle dish. You can also add a fried egg on your dish for a couple extra dollars, totally worth it. Problems, slow wait times, small tables, the rice they give you with the dish is very minimal, so you will may have to pay for an extra side of it which is not great. Serving sizes in general are small, but a top 5 restaurant in Amherst I would say in my opinion.

I just had an amazing Country Style Pad Thai and it was amazing. Spicey Pad Thai lovers rejoice!

Food was absolutely delicious, but we waited well over an hour for our food at a table of 5.

Atrocious. Like eating cardboard. Noodles all clumped together. Like, negative taste. Watch out for eggshells!

This is my favorite restaurant. The food is fantastic and the service is great. I love the green curry, but have tried the Massaman curry as well, and it is wonderful! I could eat here every day. The people who work here are terrific.

Food was great, ambience was great. Only one server in the place, person should come and ask how food was much sooner than end of dinner.

I've had the pad Thai, a curry dish, pad see ew, and a dish called crazy noodle (basically a spicy pad see ew) and all were SO good. I'd definitely recommend this place for Thai food in Amherst!

The food was good, the noodles amazing. The only issue was we weren't informed that a part of our order wasn't available until all the food arrived, which means one person in our party had to sit and wait for a really long time until something else could be made. If you're out of something let us know right away.

My experience at The Taste Thai Cuisine in Amherst, MA, was a mix of highs and lows. While the food had its moments of delight, the overall experience left much to be desired. We decided to opt for take-out and ordered the fresh mango roll, chicken red curry, and fried rice. Unfortunately, the fresh mango roll was a bit of a letdown. Despite its name, there was hardly any mango to be found. Instead, it was overloaded with cabbage and carrot, making it taste more like a vegetable roll rather than the delightful mango-infused treat we were expecting. On the brighter side, the chicken red curry and fried rice managed to impress. The flavors were bold and authentic, and the chicken was tender, making the curry a standout dish. The fried rice was equally satisfying, packed with rich flavors that complemented the main course perfectly. However, the service at The Taste Thai Cuisine left much to be desired. When we arrived around 8:40 pm, the establishment was already preparing to close at 9 pm. We inquired if they would still take our order, and they assured us it wouldn't be a problem, saying they would close around 9 pm. We were cautiously optimistic but proceeded to place our order. The confusion arose when we asked how long it would take to prepare the food. They mentioned it would be ready in 20 minutes. This raised a concern: if the restaurant closes at 9 pm and the food takes 20 minutes to prepare, we were unsure when we could actually pick up our order. It seemed like an organizational oversight that marred the overall experience. Additionally, when we requested plates for our take-out order, we were surprised to find that they had run out of them. This lack of basic supplies detracted from the professionalism of the establishment. The Taste Thai Cuisine in Amherst, MA, offered a somewhat mixed experience. The lack of mango in the fresh mango roll and the absence of plates were noticeable drawbacks. However, the chicken red curry and fried rice did manage to salvage the meal, displaying genuine Thai flavors that satisfied our taste buds. Nevertheless, the confusion over the closing time and food preparation left us feeling somewhat dissatisfied.
