“Very happy with this place. Had multiple sushi dishes, all excellent. Lo mein is also great. Hot and sour soup is the best in Andover. Draft beer is a bit pricey, though ($9 for a Sam Adams Cold Snap) and the Kung Pao has waaaaaaay too much celery. Service is top notch and the interior is friendly and inviting. Lots of TVs if you want to watch a game. Prices are reasonable for downtown Andover“

There are plenty of hibachi tables or you can sit in the bar room or the room to the left where there is a sushi counter. The place could use a little update, and I wish there were pictures on the menu, but the food is pretty good!“
“As hibachi / teppanyaki restaurants go, this is primo. The sushi was superb too.Parking: It's not super obvious from the street, look for the sign. The door is where it looks like, take the elevator to the second floor for the restaurant.“

“Very nice atmosphere. Service okay but need to ask twice as a reminder. They walk away from the keno machine too often and you miss your game. All the food I ordered was delicious except fried calamari. Looked terrible and smelled fishy. Don't let that sway you from enjoying this resturant. Very nice place and friendly staff.“
“Went here 2/29 for the first time, Wendy and Kait were absolutely amazing, attentive, kind and quick! The food was hot, fresh and had amazing presentation! Drinks were fantastic and the pricing is beyond reasonable! We will be back ASAP! HIGHLY RECOMMEND both their Chinese food and Japanese food, sushi, egg rolls and lo mein were incredible! “My husband and I stopped in for the first time today around 4:30pm. I’ll say I wasn’t expecting to see such a nice table layout. They have a nice dinning area, not too dark and the other side of the restaurant was divided for the tavern section to keep it private.Our waiter was very friendly taking our order and came around several times to check in on us.My husband had a coke and I always get a pot of tea. When the food came I was a tad disappointed that it’s the already prepared frozen type china blossom food. Peas in the rice. You know that they did doctor it up with roast pork, scrambled egg, and sprouts.Overall for the food was prepared very good for what it is.The chicken fingers crispy but soft inside, not oily. When I go to a Chinese restaurant I normally judge them by their crab Rangoons. It would be nice for a homemade type wrap over the already made Rangoons.The price was pretty decent for the combination plates we got. Maybe it was the time of day everything was pretty fresh. I will be back to try some other old favorites like Happy Family and lomein.“
“Just ordered luncheons Sushi fresh and delicious with a generous amount of sushi, miso soup and a salad. Also got luncheon with chow Mein came with wonton soup and crab Rangoon. Veggies were crunchy and light, fried rice was fresh. Good value and considerately packaged. Very fresh. Highly recommend this place.“
“A friend and I went to to Tomo on 02/18/2024 for a nice lunch. We sat at the bar which had enough seating for us to relax and enjoy our meal. We did order a quite bit for just 2 people but everything was fresh and delicious.We ordered the Blackened Tuna, Hamachi Kama , Spicy Tartar Tower, Spicy Tuna Gyoza, Pork Short ribs and Grilled Chilean Sea Bass for appetizers.The Blackened Tuna was the best ! It was fresh, seared and cooked to perfection. The Spicy Tuna Gyoza were a little over fried as you can see from the pictures but well within normal limits. The inside was warm and tasty.The Pork Short Ribs were tender and sticky with a tasty soy glaze. All in all everything we ordered was delicious. The only caveat was the Hamachi Kama was not quite as fatty as I was hoping for. IT was very good with some rice though.Our bartender was pleasant and prompt and overall the ambience was welcoming and warm. We have been any ties over the years and will definitely be back.“

The bar area is a bit difficult to find; it is located around the back near the cashier. “The absolute BEST place for steamed dumplings! We pick up a couple of packs maybe 2 times per week. They are perfectly steamed, tender pork, ground well with seasoning and the wrapping is not super thick. You will never be disappointed. And the dumpling sauce is not too salty and has a bit of sweetness to it. We love them!!“

“I have never had any issues regarding service or food at pacific grove the food is delicious and staff and very friendly. The only reason I do not give 5 stars is due to the fact that on a couple of occasions, the other patrons can get a little too rowdy for my taste, and some have even got confrontational. However, this again isn't due to lack of service from the establishment, but due to lack of judgment from other patrons on how much they can drink.“

We are both very happy we did. Our host Fred was awesome, very professional, friendly and very helpful. Fred gave us a great & simple quote to help our special day be less stressful and more enjoyable. The cooks and waitstaff were friendly & welcoming. “The vibe here is great, we love to go down Friday or Sunday night and sit at the bar. Always busy, get there by five if you want a seat. Tom makes the best drinks, martinis are fabulous, and he makes a mean Manhattan. Tap beer is ice-cold, salt and jalapeño pepper wings, and the maki are our favorites.“
