I asked for butter for the bread that came out. I mean....butter. In a restaurant. The guy says sorry bro. There was nothing going at that moment... we were the only ones eating at the bar before the dinner crowd showed up. I asked the guy to inquire into the restaurant for some butter for my bread. Comes back, sorry bro...told ya. Am I low class asking for butter for my bread? The old fashioned was fantastic, however. Absolutely fantastic. The rest of the review falls off the cliff... The chicken and veal parm we got for an entree, though, was complete DOGSHIT. Gimme a break! The easiest Italian dish to make and it's over cooked (not tender) and bland sauce. Never coming back here again. Still on the hunt for good italian...open to suggestions!

Very nice quaint and cozy place for dinner. Spacing was a bit tight while seated for dinner, but the food and service was great!!

I have nothing bad to say, except the table by the door in the main dining room part of the restaurant is really cold there.

Hands down the best service I have had in a long time. Sat at a high top and the server Brendan made us feel so welcomed and knew the menu from the back of his hand. We will be returning!

The atmosphere is strange, there was loud dance music playing and a TV at the bar yet it's the type of place to have three choices of water (Sparkling/Still/Tap). We were sat a high top tables that had stools (no back) and were crammed together that people walking by could barely fit between myself and the bar. We entered in a section that looked like a take out deli. That entrance was soon shut off and they routed all incomers through the bar and therefore right next to our table. The food was not good, everything was overcooked, meat in my pasta was burnt, the olive oil served with the bread was beyond bitter. When the waitress came to take our plates, which almost no food was eaten from, she didn't ask if it was good or why we didn't eat, just asked if we wanted dessert. It seems like this place tries to do too much and fails at it all.

Food looks good. Has no flavor, over cooked. Young teens cooking in the kitchen. Over priced not worth the money! was dissappointed for first time being there.. The veil was burnt and tasted like cardboard, disguised with melted cheese. Got the order wrong. As ordered on their menu no specialties.. Simple order was served wrong. Dont waste your money. Pazzo around the corner was way way better!

This place consistently exceeds expectations. The food is always good. The drinks are always good. The wine list is innovative without feeling overwhelming. I even make a point to have dessert here, which is something I rarely do when I go out to eat. It's clear that this place has very high standards on all aspects of the dining experience and that care is taken to ensure the best possible standards at every step of the way. In a state with no shortage of Italian restaurants, this quaint little spot in Andover is a gem and has made it into the permanent roster for restaurants to eat out at. Absolutely worth a visit.

Muscles and caesar salad were really delicious. Veal parmigiana with the vodka sauce and red sauce were both very large and good. Staff was exxtremely nice and efficient. Great wine list and overall great evening.

This was my 3rd time here and again, did not disappoint. We had a reservation and the table was ready. We sat out at the main dining area (where you check in), at a window seat. Really very nice. Food, of course, delish! We will be back!

Food is excellent, as was the service. Music a bit loud in the smaller room, so voices must be raised to be heard. In the larger room, the energy of the customers is high, and converations can become loud. Good place for a party or for a celebration, not necessarily for a quiet night out in an otherwise great restaurant.

Great place for some takeout. Or a somewhat fancy night out. It's part store and restaurant which is nice to have that option. Got some pasta and a salad and it hit the spot for a light dinner. They were generous with the thick bread slices too. Would recommend.

We have been going here for over a decade and was always amazing up until now. We went for dinner tonight to celebrate my completion of graduate school. The Arancini, which we’ve ordered often in the past were really terrible. Management come over and offer to provide some meatballs as a replacement for the subpar appetizer, which was nice but we were still charged for the arancini. For most of the night, we had an empty water glasses & the wait staff seemed overwhelmed. The entrees were not as good as it’s been in the past. I honestly don’t know if we’ll come back here again - it’s not a great experience now. Definitely not a special night for celebration! We were told there is new staff, seems like with staff turnover perhaps the quality has gone down.

Great service from the host to all the wait staff - friendly, kind, and attentive. Food is delicious and as usual had a wonderful dinner!! Only exception is the ribeye special was ordered by one of our group and then after a while we were told it was no longer available but was replaced with top sirloin, that was a mystery and was handled very well by the staff but such mysteries are better left elsewhere. ;-)

The tuna tartar was the best I have ever had. Both of our entrées were mediocre, at best. (Cod and bolognese) It took a while to get a drink. Cheese, salt and pepper took a while as well. (Food was cold when we got them.)
