What a perfect little BBQ place in Arlington, MA! When you enter, you place your order at the cash register, and they tell you when your food is ready. There is no table service. I ordered the North Carolina pulled pork sandwich without the bun (for GF) with green beans and baked beans. The portions were so large that I took half of the pulled pork home! Three other people in my party ordered the BBQ burrito and thought it was delicious! Another person ordered the Texas Hot Links Platter, and they also took home leftovers.There were multiple choices for the flavor of their homemade BBQ sauce, and I actually bought a bottle of their original sauce to bring home! The shop had only 3 small tables for seating, but many customers were picking up take out.Dietary restrictions: Right away I asked which of their foods contained gluten. The person who took my order was knowledgeable and pleasant. They easily explained that their meats and most sides were gluten free while the obvious things such as Mac&cheese, the cornbread, and the sandwich buns were not.

Would highly recommend this bbq joint if you’re looking for some good old southern style bbq! They have a great menu that is shareable as their portion sizes are so generous. Their coleslaw, beans, and Mac and cheese are very well done. I especially love their extensive sauce choices which are supposedly vinegar based. I would highly recommend their Gold sauce w/ their habanero!

Great BBQ for delivery or takeout. Very few tables so not the best place for eat-in, but the food is fabulous. Will get very backed up during peak periods.

I have been here a dozen times and also there Newton location. Food is always good. Brisket is juicy and perfect amount of smoke. Chili, wimgs and ribs are all good too. Seating options could be better but not really complaining either. Dont hesitate to go here if you crave good

Best BBQ in the area. Consistently good food with good service. Their brisket, burnt ends, pulled pork, and pulled chicken are all amazing. The cornbread is dense but still moist, the rice cooked just right. The three BBQ sauces are the icing on the cake. Or maybe that's their delicious pies... There are only a few tables, so I generally get takeout. Online ordering makes it easy. The only hard part is getting back home before digging in. Give them a try if you're in the area.

Good but its no rusty can. Worth driving out to byfield for the better food. Decent BBQ that won't blow you away if you have spent any significant time down south.

Full slab of 12 ribs ($30) comes with choice of sauce (sweet BBQ, hot or gold). Ribs are nicely done and still tender.

I stopped going here because of the service. Tried it again today after a while and did an online order giving them an hour to have my order ready. Showed up on time and was told it’ll take another 15 minutes. Their website makes you choose a tip…..my recommendation….choose no tip to see if your order is actually ready. Lost a long time customer…again
