I really wanted to like this place but we were shocked my how expensive it was for the portions/quality. It cost almost $70 for two soups with just a few veggies and meat. The meat also appeared frozen when it came out which was a weird experience. And they charge for things like sauce and garlic which was bizarre. Unfortunately we won't be going back :(
I have eaten here for about 10 years (or since they opened long ago). The soup is the best among all hotpot restaurants. But they recently ‘upgraded’ the menu. The price has gone way up for combos and the portion has shrunk to a ridiculously small size. I ordered a boneless short rib combo, there were only 13 thin little 1x2 inch rectangles. We've eaten here for 2 years now and it's consistently our favorite for broths. They really just have the best broths. Love their selection of vegetables, tofu and mushrooms. Their cooked food is really good too!
