I ordered 3 cup chicken to-go. The flavor is ok but the chicken are hard like rock and really dried. 100% not recommended! What a disgrace for Taipei and Tokyo!

Went to lunch there on a weekday with my partner and our kid. It was completely empty. We'd lived in the area and used them for take out during Covid and before. It's never a warm fuzzy place.Host was definitely cold, unwelcoming. Take out or eat in asked twice. We'd answered twice. We were told to sit at a table. We said we preferred a booth, bit of arguing. We got a booth. He rambles about having no high chairs. I ramble about why he'd offer a regular table with unsafe chairs for a 3 year old. He plops a couple menus down. We wait and wait and wait. Way at the back of the restaurant is a man peeling vegetables. After 15 minutes we try to get the hosts attention. He's off having a conversation in his language on the phone. He shuffles to the man in the back , who was kinder. We order 3 cup chicken, a fish dish and some soup which we modified (instead of wonton ) to have yellow noodles inside. Soup was fine. fish was very nice-- a white fish with vegetables. 3 cup chicken had the right sauce but the meat was tough (it's supposed to be soft like stew ). It looked like the meat was retread from another dish or precooked. Don't know. We were hungry and needed to eat. We stayed enjoying the window view of Mass Ave. If you're looking for warm fuzzy service--stay away.

I've been here nurmous times, lunch and dinner. Never disappointed. Food is fresh, delicious and good portion. If you like cocktails, try their MaiTai. It's really tasty.

The food is just ok, but the service is unfriendly. I got Covid and decided to order take-out food from this restaurant. I had chosen curbside pick up and phoned to let them know that I was waiting outside. Although I had received an e-mail confirming the curbside pick up, a grumpy voice responded that there were no more curbside pick-ups. I said I had Covid and the grumpy voice just left me hanging out on the phone. Suddenly, a grumpy individual came out of the restaurant and put the food in the trunk of the car. I called the restaurant again to complain about the individual's ill will. The same grumpy voice responded that there was no supervisor at that time. The grumpy individual's name is "Sandy" (or he made it up). I hope the management of the restaurant takes action against this person's unfriendly behavior. Anyway, across the street there is an Asian restaurant with better food and friendlier people.

Bad attitude, bad food. No heat on inside. No tea or served cold because they don't put hot water on.

Been here a few times for their lunch specials. Fair prices and their egg drop soup is always good.Reminds me of a Chinese restaurant in Brighton that used to have really good lunch specials with specific items that I can only seem to find here.

Service was about average as there was only waiter working on a Saturday evening . Peking noodles with meat sauce was tasty and the flat noodles were served in a deep bowl with the spicy meat sauce. General Gao chicken had a nice crunchy texture served on bed of broccoli. The hot snd sour soup was average in taste but was welcoming on this cold night. I would come back for the peking noodles since few places offers it and this was a comfort type selection that fills my palette..

Sat down at table in the empty restaurant and attempted to order a large soup, rice and a drink. I was told it was a minimum of $15 to eat in the restaurant! I've never encountered anything like this in my entire life. I went across the street and ordered the same thing with no issue. I recommend eating elsewhere because they don't want your business apparently.

I had a problem with my take-out order (stinky seafood that tasted awful due to not being fresh) and all they would do for me is offer to credit me on a future order. I had to throw out my dinner and they not only refused to refund my money, but they told me not to come in ever again. After being a customer for 25 years, to be treated with such rudeness and lack of customer service... I'm shocked and stunned. I was polite when I asked for what only seemed fair. I wasn't going to hold it against them, but now I can't believe this treatment. I will call the Board of Health if that is the disdain they have for their customers' well-being.

I ordered the sweet and sour chicken, yesterday. The chicken was tough & dried out, after peeling off the coating it was obvious that the chicken had been previously cooked.
