Twyrl is a hidden gem in Arlington Center. Located conveniently on Mass Av with ample parking and when weather allows outdoor dining. The pasta (both regular and the GF) are delicious, the sauces are from scratch and just fantastic. Each visit my wife and I make it is a hard decision which to get. There are no wrong answers here, just postponed culinary adventures. The owner who circulates the outside dining when we went is super friendly which makes the experience even better. Treat yourself to this place. You have earned it.

Great local Italian place making their own pastas and sauces. Eat in area is small but cozy. Takeout for a more comfortable experience

Really good vibe, for dine in. It's quite relaxed, and the waiters are attentive. Start with fresh bread dipped in olive oil then choose from specialty pasta dishes or make your own. The beef ragu is quite flavorful. The pasta was freshly made, and al dente.

Such a cute quaint pasta bistro around the corner from Regent Theatre. Accommodated all our dietary concerns. Service was great

Some delicious food before an exciting event of live theatre. I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant. Best marinara sauce in a LONG time!! And the CUTEST outdoor seating!!

Delicious homemade pasta and good portions!

It was okay. The chicken & broccoli Alfredo lacked flavor. The chicken was dry and the Alfredo don't have near enough sauce. The wait staff were great. Great location.

Had a quick, delicious dinner with plenty of leftovers to make the $30/person (including tax and tip) final price pretty palatable! Dog friendly outdoor dining, but as it gets colder, I do think heaters for the outdoor space would be an added excellent touch. Delicious diavolo sauce and generally everything was full of flavor!

The food was good, however the waiter did not look like he cared about his job. He just brought me my food with one airpod in his ear said nothing and went back inside and sat on his phone. If you avoid sit down and do takeout instead, this is still a really good choice

Response to Chris F's Dishonesty, Distortions, and Disrespect: Unfortunately Chris has resorting to spinning "alternative facts" to justify his unjustifiable behavior, outrageously claiming paper towels were left in his toilet, etc. My children and I used his bathroom twice, at the beginning of the visit and at the end. We acted with courtesy and respect, spent $75 on an overpriced lunch, and tipped generously. To be accosted on a public sidewalk by a cantankerous manager and accused of trashing his bathroom, then given no opportunity to respond is absolutely out of line. His consistently testy behavior during previous visits and the constant parade of changing staff well before covid suggest Chris. F. is not cut out for a profession that requires politeness, cordiality, and respect of other human beings. Parents Be Warned Took my two young children to Twyrl for an overpriced celebration lunch because the pleasant day tempted me to overlook a history of mediocre food and a consistently crusty manager. Was careful to be respectful of other patrons, so arrived and left early. Children were on great behavior and I left 18% tip. Ten minutes later, after we were leaving an adjoining establishment, Twryl owner Chris F. accosted me and my children in the middle of the sidewalk. Carrying a handful of paper towels and pieces of toilet paper, he said, "I just want you to know that I found these on the bathroom floor." Before I could respond, he turned on his heels and left. He was insinuating that we had dirtied his bathroom. I followed him into the restaurant and had to ask other staff to find him as he had disappeared. When he finally showed I suggested that he was blaming us for something we did not do. He countered by saying that he had been watching who accessed the bathroom and he knew it was us. For the record, my children and I had been just as careful in the bathroom as we had been while dining to leave as little footprint as possible. It is possible that in the flurry that always accompanies young children, a paper towel had been left on the floor, but if it was, it was entirely unintentional. Regardless, I don't understand how the owner of a casual pasta restaurant in the middle of one of the most family-friendly towns in the Boston area expects to evade doing a little extra cleanup after his youngest patrons. And how he justifies receiving $62 plus tip for a simple lunch and then has the temerity to treat a well-paying, well-tipping, well-behaving patron with such a level of shameless lowbred disrespect. Clearly Chris F. is in the wrong business, and parents of young children should avoid this place because collectively we have the right to be treated with dignity and respect.

My husband and I came here for dinner. They served you bread and oil, that was ok. The pasta are made fresh and you can definitely tell. You can select from one of their fixed entrees or create your own dish. I decided to create my own for the sauce I chose vodka and for toppings I did chicken and peas. Overall it was good. Currently they only do outside dining but when we went we lucked out with the weather. We didn't order dessert here as we wanted to go to the ice cream shop next door.

Long 60 min wait for relatively bland dishes. Noodles were long, thick and difficult to cut. You roll them and end up with a baseball sized roll. Spicy turkey sauce was very good.

Awesome pasta & variety of sauces! Definitely recommend their creamy basil and baked lasagna plates. They have a convenient online ordering system without fees and offer contact-less pick up. Bonus: friendly staff!
