Amazing sushi, wonderful atmosphere, and always a fantastic experience!Every time we come here it feels like visiting family - from the friendly welcome, to the drinks and soup, and incredible sushi.This is the most underrated sushi experience. I suspect the only reason this place is not always full is because it just opened up and most don't know about it. The sushi is better than the other 3 places in Arlington. The service is the best we've ever had. The fish is incredibly fresh.Everything from the sushi menu has been incredibly tasty. The Hako Tuna roll and the mango roll are two favorites from the specialty menu. In terms of nigiri, everything has been delicious and super fresh - we really enjoy the tuna and scallop nigiri. We come here about twice a week and recommend it very highly!Kid-friendliness: Wonderful experience with a child!

We are so happy to have Umi down the street! The maki rolls are always fresh and taste incredible. The owners always make us bubble tea with adjusted sugar (and even remember how we take it after only one order). Umi is perfect for both takeaway and an in-restsursnt date night. Highly recommend a party plate as well -- we did that for friends and it was devoured in a few minutes. Excited to have some tonight (and probably within the next 7 days again, if I'm being honest). Thanks for being the best sushi in Arlington!

What a wonderful place! The owner is so nice. She and the sushi chef have each 17 years of experience working in various Japanese restaurants. The sushi is fresh and delicious. So glad to have a great sushi restaurant close by in Arlington! (Sorry Ebi sushi, you’re great too but it’s nice not having to trek to Union)

Honestly - the best sushi place in the area! These guys just opened up recently and I went to try the sushi here because I read in one of the local facebook groups that the sushi is fresh and the prices were reasonable …and this place did NOT disappoint! Of all the sushi I’ve tried in the area, theirs is the tastiest and the prices are great! They also make great shakes (I loooove their lychee shake with lychee jelly - so good!). I’d recommend pretty much anything - the fish they use is fresh, rice is delicious and the sauces are great! This is NOT a sit down restaurant (they are designed to be a takeout place), BUT they do have few tables and you can also eat inside if you’d like (just in the carry-out containers). A very nice couple own and run this restaurant - very polite and pleasant. Their prices for the lunch specials are great too (and so are the dinner prices), and they run their lunch specials on weekends too! I highly recommend this place for sushi that tastes great and yet is not overpriced.
