My wife and I had dinner last Friday. We both ordered fish and chips. The last visit we had chicken parm. The food is always good. The prices are surprisingly low. The daily specials are a really great value. Tried the fried eggplant sticks and they were awesome. This is a neighborhood restaurant with a large bar on one side and a family restaurant on the other side. Something for everyone.

TJ's has great food and great drinks! The people there are super friendly. It's always a good time!

Always a good meal at a great price. My husband and I went there for Valentines Day and had a wonderful lunch of chicken parmesan and it was delicious. The ambiance is what you would expect from a "towny" location but it is the prefect place to go. The wait staff is always attentive and nice. Give it a try. We will be back.

Recently had the unfortunate need for a bereavement reception. My family researched numerous locations we were familiar with and were dismayed to find literally all presented outrageous terms and pricing (3x cost pp of what you would pay if going to lunch and room fees at many). My Dad remembered going to TJ's after the loss of a dear friend. I called them and could not have been more pleased. Joe and all the staff were incredible. Totally understood the circumstances, were sincerely caring and could not have been more accommodating. After the horrible week of losing my Mother and getting raked over the coals by so many opportunistic shysters out there (ESPECIALLY THEIVING FUNERAL HOME), It was so nice to have the experience at TJ's and restored some faith in humanity.... They will always have my loyal dedication and appreciation. -Thank you Joe, Sue and team!!

Been going here for years... but a recent post funeral gathering unexpectedly brought me back. Family friendly, great owner-run bar/restaurant. They know who they are and want to be. Nostalgic to the childhood bone...keno, strong drinks, great homemade food, no frills, no nonsense.

My boyfriend lives down the street from here so we often order take out. This is the third time I’ve experienced extremely rude service. Every time it is the same person. Usually my boyfriend picks the food up but tonight I did. I wasn’t sure where to go. The woman in a pink shirt rudely let me know that there is a pick up window for take out. On said window there is no signage to let you know that it is a take out window. There’s actually a sign that says the entrance is for employees and vendors only. She was also rude to my boyfriend on the phone while he was placing our order. I won’t be coming here for food anymore, I don’t need an attitude for placing a take out order or going to the wrong spot for pickup when there are no signs anywhere.

This is my favorite place to go for a burger because they never disappoint with the way I like mine cooked. At TJ's you have the option to play keno and the staff is amazing. The Frozen Mudslides are my personal favorite, and again I wish the beer was colder. The appetizers are good if you're not looking for a meal.

Tried this place twice hoping I’d understand the rave reviews on Facebook but I still don’t.The fried clams were definitely frozen before being fried so were very bland. I also got the fish tacos which were tortillas, fried fish, cheese and mayo, so 100% beige. The one thing that was quite good were the soups, the tomato bisque and loaded potato soups were great.Overall, the prices were good but the food was just not good enough to choose it over any other restaurant.

Had a great lunch there today - the hamburger was delicious! Thick and juicy - almost 2 inches thick. Ordered it medium and it came exactly that way. Best burger I have had in a long time. Got onion rings instead of fries and I will now always get these instead. They were very tasty and lightly battered. This place is one of a very few that have delicious lunch specials for around $10. Today chicken parm and a few other meals were on the special list. They have different specials each day. The prices at night are very affordable also. The waitress was very attentive and the environment is cozy casual. So if you are looking for an affordable lunch place (hard to find these days) go to TJ's and try it out. Or go at night for an affordable dinner out.

Very friendly and helpful staff! The place was buzzing with activity but service was excellent - Very attentive. There are several seating options, from outdoor deck to bar seats to high tops to dining room. We weren't starving, so we shared a meal. No grumbling from the waiter. One of the specials was a Shrimp Po Boy, which was delicious. The shrimp was fried in a light, non-greasy batter, almost tempura style. A generous portion was stuffed into a grilled hotdog roll and served with the sauce on the side. It was kind of a Cajun remoulade sauce and it was very good. We also used it to dip the accompanying steak fries into. My only regret was forgetting to take a photo. Next time, for sure!

We picked up an order for a family reunion today. Everything was good except for the pan of roasted potatoes. Most of them were cut in large pieces and were not cooked all the way through making eating them very difficult. People commented on them saying they were not fully cooked. Roasted chicken, stuffed shells, peppers, onions and sausage were good. Most of the pan of potatoes were left over. First time this has happened.

I expect these types of places to have mediocre food, but this place far exceeded expecations. Really worth trying.
