“Erica's has become one of our favorite local restaurants. The place is small-ish, but they have a deck for summer alfresco dining. The bar area is a blast. Bartenders are friendly, efficient, and the drinks are well made. The people are generally friendly and you can often find yourself chatting with someone you never met before. But the food is why we go here. It's common to eventually run into a dish that you don't like...but it's yet to happen here. Seafood fra diavlo, gigantic portions, just spicy enough. Excellent pizzas, tasty sandwiches, delicious appetizers...it's all good. Erica (yup, the restaurant name actually means something here) often makes specialty desserts. If you are offered one...get it!“

“This is probably one of my favorite places to go eat in ashland and some of the favorite Raman that I've ever had. The guy that served us was very cool and polite he warned us about the spice even if you think you can take it get like a 0-1 on the spicy Raman that is so spicy. The place is very tiny but is very good most of the time it's full so come early if you want a seat.“

Subs are excellent, and the pasta dinners could potentially feed two. The entire menu is a gastronomical dream come true for this type of fare! I can wholeheartedly recommend the fried haddock with extra crispy fries or the grilled steak and chicken combo with crispy fries plus a side of their tasty rice! Prices can be a little more than pre-covid days but honestly, for the quality of the food and the speed of service I have no problem paying a little more, besides, we get to support a local business and that I believe is important during these trying times! “Went to go pick up food in my military uniform after my weekend National Guard drill had ended. I never even asked for nor expected it, but they applied a generous military discount. I thought that was classy. Of course I tipped extra. Subsequently, took my family there to eat in person, and it was a solid experience. Kind of a long wait though.“

Well I'm writing to tell you, OMG, Bullfinch's makes a delicious classic Irish dinner, served with a very nice side Dijon cream and the best bread rolls ever !!! If you don't already have an over the top place get your Irish dinner this year, run don't walk to Bullfinch's in Sudbury. You won't be disappointed. “Stumbled into this restaurant today by accident, and left wondering how soon I could get back there. Absolutely the best-tasting food I have ordered in most of New England. The servings are generous, the menu extensive, the ingredients fresh and perfectly seasoned. One of our group is a picky eater and she couldn’t get enough of her veggie burrito. My grilled eggplant sandwich was to die for, and another at our table ordered the portobello sandwich, which she declared superb. Next time we ordered the same appetizer, they triple-checked that it was the correct one and even doubled the amount of food in the box!! Definitely redeemed themselves! I recently tried the fried fish taco and it was great. I also recommend the chorizo. My favorite dish is the fried plantain dessert. It comes with ice cream and is great. “I visited the Farmer's Daughter with a friend today for the third time. I decided to try the "Stonehill" and my friend had a frittata. I was pleasantly surprised to see that a carafe of water was left on the table so I didn't need to wait for our server to return to the table in order to ask for refills. Also, this may seem minor but I was very happy to see that they set their tables to include spoons. At other eating establishments I usually have to ask for a spoon to finish the last morsels of my choice of meal. I even enjoyed a good cup of tea with my delicious breakfast sandwich that stayed hot because of their nice stoneware mugs. These small niceties are a big deal for me! Needless to say I will return to the Farmer's Daughter in Sudbury MA.“

“After three years of having traipsed by this place, looking over and thinking 'Someday...' I finally decided that tonight was it. I was...in a /mood,/ to put it succinctly. Dagnabbit, I wanted some ice cream.So I stepped on into the brightly lit but welcoming little shop. It was clean, pristine, and calm--but I could practically feel the exuberant energy of its patrons and staff that it would have on any given summer afternoon, even on this quiet evening. I made my way over to view the selection, and...while I had expected there to be a fantastic selection of unique flavors...I was ill-prepared for the choices I'd have to make. My eyes roved over such a brilliant array of colors and provocative flavors, that my attention was like trying to walk a pack of exceptionally energetic puppies. Any moment I thought I had made a decision, one of those puppies would leap at another label or swirl or splash of rainbow, yipping and pulling. All of the disappointments and problems in my life slipped away into the ether as the most pressing thing in the world at the moment was... 'WHICH ONE?!' I was going to commit to a pint, no matter what--no question. Sure, I could have asked for some samples, but I didn't want to pester the pleasant woman keeping shop... She was already engaged in friendly banter with a couple of other patrons, and I was struggling as it was. I have a penchant for eating anything that's aggressively blue, and the variety of flavors available in that color had me holding my breath as my eyebrows tried to unite with my hairline. I finally wrangled my internal puppy thoughts--resisting my every urge to just shout 'BLUE!'--and picked one: Caramel cheesecake.I scurried home, dealt with some unpleasant things... But finally I grabbed a spoon and dug in--...there are some things in this world that bring such unexpected pleasure and joy that it elicits reactions that seem contrary and disproportionate to the thing being experienced. Such was the case with this ice cream. It was so good, I had to beg pardon for my vernacular and volume. So smooth, so creamy, but with tantalizingly soft chews of chunks of cheesecake and subtle crunches. It was sweetness like a euphoria. I had meant only to have a little taste so I could satisfy my curiosity and save it for later...but the spoon seemed to take on a mind of its own. M'lad witnessed my exultation, and I almost reluctantly passed him the spoon. Usually, we can calmly and politely share food--but we were reduced to a base, child-like state, and got grabby-snatchy with just the one spoon. Something about this must have alarmed my rational side, and after both of us saying 'Last one, for realsies--' for the fifth or sixth time, I managed to slap the top back on to save what was left for later...but it was difficult.Suffice to say, next time I will allow myself to dawdle a bit in the shop and ask for samples, although I sincerely doubt that there is any wrong choice. I blindly and recklessly committed to this one flavor... My only regret is that I didn't get a bigger bucket.“

However, I wasn't that big of a fan of the Pad Thai. I didn't like that they added Broccoli to it and an abnormal amount of peanut to it. Such a huge disappointment with Pad Thai. But the rest of the 2 dishes were solid.“
