As a part ofYour package they promise you a day of wedding coordinator and you would assume there’s no way they wouldn’t 100% have your wedding day supported and planned for the amount of money hey charge and I can assure you when it comes down to it when they don’t have one, they don’t care how much you Paid they will convince you you’re nuts after the wedding day is over like that wasn’t a part of your contract and emails and pretend the “manager” was also your coordinator , trust me it’s not they will harass your vendors to do all clean up and services and they will cut corners against your big day to save on staff. Every single part of my wedding day was not executed properly to the point my day was a blur of me handling it all , being rushed or being upset because of how morin’s managed wedding day . When I emailed after confronting them I did not receive a day of wedding coordinator to assure everything runs smoothly and it’s standard with their package I would’ve been better off hiring my own and having a catering company that actually focuses on the food and service unfortunately with glen manor you have no choice but to deal with this awful company , we should’ve been reimbursed for not having a day of wedding coordinator and also she didn’t show up to the 2 week prior meeting I should’ve known something wasn’t right

From Day 1 of planning to walking out of the Providence Public Library after the night of nuptials, everything was perfect.The entire staff was focused on Job #1 - hosting an amazing event for my bride, myself and our 120 guests.The food and the service were amazing, the "Day Of" Team were on point from the rehearsal to us getting on the shuttle back to the hotel at the end of the night.I cannot thank the team enough, especially Nicole! To say that I recommend Russell Morin is an understatement, the good things to say about them are endless. They catered my wedding in August and were beyond fantastic. Throughout the entire process they were communicative, friendly, and professional. On our wedding day, everything was set up perfectly, the bar service was great, and there were zero slip ups. Most importantly, the food was EASILY the I've ever had at a wedding. I received compliments from 20+ people about how good the food was, with many of those from people who have attended 10+ weddings, who said it was the best they ever had. My husband and I had a personal attendant the entire night who was great and made sure we had everything we needed. I wish we could have a second wedding so that we could have Russell Morin's food again! I would be a mistake to not hire them.

I have very mixed feelings about Morins. We worked with Morins at Mt Hope Farm for our September 2023 wedding. First of all, the catering team was amazing. The food was great and the team themselves were all great. We had a day-of person that was also wonderful, we have no complaints about anyone on the catering team.The events team was really disappointing. We initially toured the venue with Liana who was our main POC for the initial process.To give background, there are two different wedding locations at MHF and we were interested in Cove Cabin. There's also a second location (The Barn) that is close to several bed and breakfasts on the property. We were interested in renting out the B&Bs at Mount Hope Farm for our wedding party to get ready but were concerned about another wedding on the property. We didn't want to interfere with their wedding and vice versa. Before signing the contract, we had several conversations with Liana in which we were repeatedly told that it wouldn't be an issue. Liana promised us that we would be able to coordinate with another wedding and it's never been a problem.Before reserving the B&Bs as well, we had another conversation with Liana about our concerns about our wedding party intruding upon the Barn. Liana mentioned that they stagger wedding times so as to not have any overlap between the two weddings. We were recommended by Liana to schedule the wedding at 4:30pm and were told that the Barn wedding will most likely start later, as that's normally how they schedule their weddings. They also would not confirm whether or not they had a wedding reserved at that property.Months later (after we'd emailed a few times to ask about the second wedding), we were told they DID have a Barn wedding booked on that date and their wedding wanted to start at 3pm. Because of this, we were going to need to leave the B&Bs at 1:50. At this point, we’d already had the 4:30pm start time on our website and save the dates and couldn’t adjust. We were also working with a different person and never spoke with Liana again.We ended up needing to move our start time back by two and a half hours to accommodate the second wedding and paid over $700 to vendors to accommodate moving hair and makeup and photos earlier.After expressing frustration with Morins, they offered a free peach sangria signature cocktail. We weren't planning on having a signature cocktail so it didn't feel like it was adequately addressing the issue. We asked if we could switch the peach sangria to another cocktail and were told no. After a lot of back and forth, they did offer to change the signature cocktail.For the exorbitant amount of money we paid to Morins for our wedding, the customer service was disappointing. There was almost no acknowledgement of the mistake and they never really apologized. The wedding was great and in the end, there weren't any other major mishaps but the miscommunication was one of the biggest stressors of the wedding planning process.Obviously, it's hard to do a wedding in RI and avoid working with Morins but if you can, I would recommend it. The three stars is partially due to the catering team, who were great. I would not work with the events team again if I could avoid it.

My wife and I got married at Shining Tides in August and given that RMCE is the exclusive caterer of Shining Tides, we had the extremely good fortune to work with Krista, Yasmin and the entire RMCE team! There are so many reasons you would be making the right decision in choosing RMCE as your caterer but let's start with the most obvious one: the FOOD. When I say the food knocked our socks off, I mean it wholeheartedly. Being two food-lovers, the food for our guests was extremely important to us for the big day. Needless to say, when we went to our tasting with RMCE, it completely affirmed what we already believed to be the case; the hors d'oeuvres not only looked amazing, but also tasted amazing (we had mini fish tacos, arancini, "big mac" beef wellingtons, and lobster chips, among other amazing passed items), the mains were perfectly cooked as well, and the dessert options were equally delicious and so artfully made. Our guests were raving about the food all night! Then of course, there's the staff, who were absolutely amazing. Krista at RMCE was a dream to work with leading up to the wedding; she is kind, helpful, detail-oriented and deeply invested in making sure everything goes off without a hitch! Her and Elizabeth from Shining Tides worked very well together and made us feel totally at ease in the months leading up to the big day. Similarly, Yasmin, our day-of-coordinator, was just as wonderful to work with and worked tirelessly both before and throughout the big day to make sure everything ran seamlessly. And lastly, the entire RMCE catering staff was so great. Having worked in catering myself, I know it can be a stressful, fast-paced and at times thankless job, and we were just so impressed and humbled by how kind, efficient and professionally they all worked throughout the night. Our RMCE wedding attendant, Judy, was constantly checking in to make sure that both ourselves and our immediate family had all the drinks, hors d'oeuvres, and desserts we could handle, and it just meant a lot to us to be able to say hi to all of our guests while still being able to enjoy the amazing food and drinks we had picked out. All of this is to say, going with RMCE will be the best wedding vendor decision you could make and we truly could not be happier that we had the chance to work with Russell Morin!!!

We got married in July at Mount Hope Farm and cannot thank Russel Morin and specifically, Kelsey, our coordinator, enough. Our wedding day was even better than we expected and we credit that to Morin's. Kelsey helped guide us through the wedding process and kept us organized and on track in the months leading up. We loved the Block Island swordfish for a RI touch, though all food was delicious and guests are still talking about cocktail hour. We highly recommend working with Morin's and Kelsey to anyone who wants a seamless wedding experience!
I work with a lot of caterers and Russell Morin were truly above and beyond amazing. The food they prepared onsite was delicious and perfectly timed and executed. We had the watermelon amuse bouche and our group is still talking about it! Every plate of every course was plated and presented perfectly.The service team was terrific, so professional and went out of their way to provide the best possible service. They were able to set up an amazing atmosphere in our space and pivot and problem solve to produce a wonderful dining experience.The meal was beautifully served and their efficient service was so warm and friendly that no guest felt rushed. Their Senior Experience Specialist worked diligently to get us our ideal menu and meet our needs.From deciding a menu, to food to setup to service it was a truly fantastic experience and they are so committed creating your ideal event.

Maggie was incredibly kind and resourceful, full of helpful advice, and kept the day running smoothly and on schedule without ever interrupting any special moment. Our newlywed attendant Janet was also so kind and helpful and even removed a few stains from my dress throughout the night.Morins truly allowed us to relax and enjoy one of the best days of our lives!
