Had not been in years and finally went this past summer. Sat at bar and was immediately greeted and served. Drinks were great. Ordered a lobster salad. OMG!! So much lobster and delicious.

One of the best seafood restaurants in the Hyannis area. Their prices are very good too. We always order the usual lobster rolls, fried whole belly clams, and fried scallops. Can't wait to go back again this summer.

This place must be a local gem where price and quality matches; service was great too. The fresh oysters and the whole baked lobster is a must try! We'll comeback when they reopen next summer. PS: the outside patio is dog friendly ..our server even provided our pup with a bowl of water, woof woof.

Thoroughly enjoyable experience with a lovely dockside view, and upscale tasty dining. Service was great, but since it was a busy time it was a little slow. Since we were on vacation, we didn't mind the slight wait. I definitely recommend for a great slice of Cape Cod atmosphere and great food.

Oh dear lord how I love Spanky's. Food is exquisite. Service is top notch and you cannot, I dare you, cannot complain about the portion sizes. HUGE for your money. We always sit outside but the inside is super nice as well. Right smack on the harbor watching the boats come and go while you eat. We always get the same waitress and she's super awesome. Can't wait until May to go back again.

Located just a stone's throw away from the beach, it's the perfect spot for seafood while enjoying the salty breeze.For appetizers, we couldn't resist ordering both the clam chowder and lobster bisque. The lobster bisque stole the show with its robust flavor and velvety texture. It was so rich and nice chunks of lobster. In fact, it outshone any bisque I had ever tasted in Boston. The bisque is a 5 out of 5. On the other hand, the clam chowder, while delicious, didn't quite surpass the chowders I had savored in the Greater Boston Area. Still, it was a comforting bowl of creamy goodness - a solid 4 out of 5. The generous portion sizes of both dishes offered excellent value for money, ensuring we left feeling full.For the main course, I opted for the clam strips. With each bite, I could taste the freshness of the clams. Squeezing a lemon wedge on top added a zesty kick that elevated the flavors. However, I couldn't help but regret not ordering the whole belly fried clams. It's probably tastes meatier, which is what I was looking forward to. Next time I'm back I'll try it out and see if my expectations hold true. Chowder was the best I've ever had and I have had a lot. Fried whole belly clams were not greasy and very tasty. Ambience is what you'd expect in a harborside restaurant. Service was slow, but clearly due to staffing issues

Every time I've eaten at Spanky's it has been delicious. I look forward to coming back to the Cape again next year to enjoy more of their seafood. At this latest visit the staff went out of their way to ensure we had a great dinner, they were great. I highly recommend.
Amazing!! We visited the area for the day and were looking for authentic Cape Cod seafood... this did not disappoint. The place was clean and a cool "on the water" vibe. The servers were friendly and attentive. It was clean and efficient despite how busy it was. Our drinks were full, our food was hot and our waitress was very friendly and kind. My husband got the fried clams. They were tender, not chewy, and very flavorful. I got the mixed plate with grilled shrimp, scallops and fish. Amazing flavor in a butter, wine sauce. Will definitely come back when we visit next summer.

Read the reviews and must say the restaurant did not meet our expectations. The lobster roll was good but the fried clam bellies were disappointing, although very plentiful Chowder was very good.

The reviews don't lie! Fantastic seafood. The bacon wrapped scallops were perfectly cooked. Try the swordfish topped with lobster bisque. Wow! It was yummy. Family friendly atmosphere. And yes, get dessert. My favorite was the lemon- chello cake.Kid-friendliness: All the kids looked like they were able to get something on the menu they loved.
