Our server was clearly new, and English was not her primary language. However she was pleasant and tried. The food was delicious and the portions were excellent!! Everyone was very friendly and had a smile!!

3⭐️ + Nice Sunday morning breakfast stop after walking into town from the ferry terminal. Good mid morning crowd but the kitchen team kept the orders flying off the grill with minimal communication. Second cup of decaf was MUCH fresher. Half and half made it look creamy instead of just dark like the first cup. Water tasted great!Full 3 page menu but I kept it simple. Two eggs scrambled, dark toast, pancakes, and sausage gravy over biscuits.Great presentation and temperature but just a little plain tasting. Potatoes needed more seasoning IMHO. Everything I saw come out of the kitchen looked great. Didn’t spot a single bottle of hot sauce?? Must have been some around but pretty busy to catch and ask.

Servers seemed to be annoyed to serve you, and don't expect to get your coffee refilled anytime. When we asked for napkins and a refresh of the coffee she rudely said I will when I can, and didn't return in 15 minutes so we just left. Probably better options on Main Street imo.

The Sunnyside Restaurant is a good spot to grab a quick lunch near the Hyannis train station. This is a family style restaurant, with the traditional counter, tables, and ice cream machines. I had the 1/2 pound hamburger, which was tasty.

Delicious, with generous portions. This staple of Hyannis isn't sleek or glamorous - and I don't want it to be. Instead it is filled with attentive, active staff who are quick with a joke or a refill. This kind of restaurant would fit in almost any neighborhood- there's an immediate familiarity. Not to mention the food is just the right mix of classics and new favorites. On my first trip I treated myself to the French-toasted cinnamon roll, which was a delight, and the second I stuck with the classics of pancakes and eggs. Both were delicious, filling, and ridiculously low priced for the area. My recommendation would be to keep up the great work, raise the prices a little, and throw your staff a party at the end of the summer - they've earned it!

I cannot speak highly enough of Sunnyside. My experience here was wonderful. The loaded omelette was perfection. 3 eggs, corned beef hash, and some veggies and cheese. The home fries were cooked to perfection- not many places do fries like that. The service was so friendly and fast. Prices are hard to beat, especially for the combos. Absolutely do come here if you're on the cape!

Great local spot. If you're the dad that gets up at 5:30 on vacation and likes a little peace and quiet before the kids get up it's a perfect Friendly spot.

Great little spot easy to walk to from hotel. Best fried potatoes on the trip. Friendly staff and home cooked food. Had the fried eggs and pancakes and enjoyed it all. Would go back for sure.

Amazing old school breakfast spot that's spent the past 40 years providing good eats at cheap prices for locals and visitors.

Definitely one of the finest places for a basic eggs, bacon and sausage breakfast I've been to in last several years. They're a little short staffed right now and there was a little bit of a wait for food on Father's Day (and crowds for car show nearby), but when brought, the food was HOT, perfect. We were back the next day when they weren't so crowded and no wait at all but the food was just as good. We were just visiting, but I won't go anywhere else for breakfast on the Central Cape. The staff were very nice and working very hard.

Nice little breakfast place. A two minute walk from the hotel. They were short handed I think there were only three of them. We got your basic breakfast items, eggs, hash browns and bacon. The food came out pretty quick. They were all nice. It was a Monday so not real busy. We were happy with the meal.

The reason the ADA exists. Server demanded to see verification and ID of sevice dog (which is illegal) insisted that I produce one (they don't exist) and then informed me that the owner would allow us "this one time."Food and drink came out in minutes, refill of coffee was offered almost immediately, check was dropped and paid, and we were completely ignored. Tried several times to get attention of our server, was ignored. Had to flag another for coffee, which she never brought. There were 4 (at the most) other parties in the place, we were being rushed out. My service dog sat under the table the whole time, and did nothing except his job.

You think that the Food won't be good when you walk by because when you look in you think that it is really small however the Food is spectacular and the atmosphere is terrific! I know I gave it 5 Stars however if I could I would give it 5 more and so will my Boyfriend! We love coming there a lot! The people who work there are awesome and so is the Food!

Where the locals go... Good coffee, good food, good people... Undertones of Portugal... Linguica sausage & Portuguese muffins (similar to an English muffin)

This is a homey, cozy place to have breakfast or lunch. Simple made to order most of the people in our group order breakfast specials, combos but my fav thing is a bit great perfect bacon crunchy lettuce and wonderful ripe tomatoes. I wanna go back now. We go almost every other Sunday and they never disappoint! Prices are very reasonable. Enjoy!
