A good North Shore-style roast beef sandwich on a toasted, sesame seed bun (Big Martys?), not soggy, thinly sliced. Ask for double horseradish sauce (or anything you want). Not fancy, an old-school hole in the wall, just quick and good. Limited seating, easy parking in front (small strip mall). Used to work nearby, and this was a regular for lunch. Stopped by recently and it's still the same.

Bedford House of Roast Beef is an absolute 11/10, they saved me for real. Went all the way to North Andover for Bella’s and drove home only to find out they forgot to give me the actual sandwich! Ordered here on a whim, not expecting anything crazy, and was delivered one of the best beef three ways I’ve had, cannot recommend these guys enough!

Got a RB 3 way, they gave me a reg one by mistake, was hungry and ate that one anyway and went back in to order another 3 way (hungry) and they refused to let me pay even though i ate the other one and intended to buy the replacement. Really nice people, both the regular and 3 way were really good.

I have been eating here for more than 15 years. used to drive back-and-forth on my way to work. But that's been years ago so now I stop when I'm in the area. Still excellent food and service. They have worked hard to keep prices down but of course they have come up, but still an excellent value. Staff is super. Just had the clam strip dinner and my wife had the haddock special. If you are a traveler on I-95 it is definitely worth the mile or so off the highway for a great meal and break.

I ate here for the first time today--a roast beef sandwich. It was the best RB sandwich I'd ever had. Bun toasted, perfect pink/red thinly sliced met with no fat or gristle, neither skimpy nor overloaded, perfect BBQ sauce. They have lots of great looking sandwiches and a variety of fried seafood (can't wait to try the calamari!) It's not fancy, just a neighborhood joint, but the food is first rate! I'll be back soon!Kid-friendliness: Families were seated together, enjoying a reasonably-priced meal together. I like restaurants where kids are present.
