I have gone to bamboo for many years and it was good up until 2 years ago when the quality of the food was questionable and it just tastes like food you would buy at the stir and heat up

I had a really bad time at this place. I just couldn't bring myself to eat there. My daughter, my 3-year-old granddaughter, and I had driven a long way from another state and we were excited to finally sit down and have a nice meal. But as soon as we got there, a delivery truck driver asked me to move my car so he could unload his stuff. I moved, of course, because I'm nice like that. Then we went inside and it smelled really bad - like cat pee and poop. I saw a cute dog, but it wasn't a service dog. If you don't mind the smell of animals, maybe you'll like this place. But I definitely didn't.

No flavor in 99% of food. I would avoid as I have concerns that the food is old.

Bamboo Express has now ownership and is one of my go to's for local Chinese food. The young lady behind the counter is very friendly as she is usually multitasking. They do a lot of takeout and delivery. Some of their food is phenomenal like the Egg Foo Young, Kung Pao Chicken, Orange Chicken, Beef and Mushrooms. Their appetizers are pretty solid. Egg Rolls are the cabbage type. I'm more of an old school celery based type. Hot and Sour Soup has nice flavor but sometimes I need to add a little heat. Overall it is a solid takeout restaurant. I have not dined in since the new management. I do recommend!

Mushy tasteless slop. Orange beef was inedible. Mu shu vegetables was mushy, overcooked vegetables with no flavor. Awful.

This place is pretty decent. They have a room for dining in but I got takeout. I went in to order and the lady at the counter was very nice. She said it would be about 15 minutes but it actually took 30. I got crab rangoons, pineapple fried rice, egg roll, spring roll and D16 which is orange chicken and pork fried rice. The egg roll wasn't that good and the spring roll was ok. The crab rangoons were pretty good but seriously lacking crab. What was surprisingly disappointing was the pineapple fried rice. It barely had any chicken or onions and they don't put cashews in it. Also it had a very dull one sided flavor to it. Now on to the orange chicken. The orange chicken was sweet, had a bit of an orange flavor and a hint of spicy. The chicken itself was pretty decent but some of the pieces definitely could have been crunchier. Last was the pork fried rice. It had a good flavor but was undercooked. One more thing, the hot oil. It's extremely spicy. This is a place I'd probably go to once or twice a year but not regularly.

I am revising my previous review, as the food at Bamboo Express has taken a huge town for the worse. They took my favorite menu item off the menu, everything is greasy as hell, literally ANYTHING fried tastes like fish that's part it's expiration date, the online ordering system is a waste of time since you still have to call in to pay for it, the woman who answers the phone speaks almost no English when you call to place an order or pay for an online order or to complain when their food sucks, and yet speaks perfect English when you get there (so that act is just a farce to avoid responsibility - and she's just plain rude), the delivery person is an idiot (he once told me that I didn't know my own address), and they're closing at 9pm on a Saturday now - and that's just taking it way too damn far. This "family" is intentionally running their own "family run business" into the ground because they're just plain lazy. It's kind of like a 4 pack a day smoking alcoholic who smokes crack - they're just committing restaurant suicide in slow motion.I honestly don't know what the point was in ever reopening, since they clearly don't want to be in business, but I think we should all just give them what they clearly want and choose one of the 11 other Asian restaurants that deliver to Bellingham.Screw Bamboo Express!

Delivery time average (online order for delivery on weekend). Nothing bad, nothing spectacular. Food was excellent. Nothing negative to say.

We've ordered from Bamboo Express many times. I always have leftovers because they're certainly not skimpy about how much food they give you. Their crabrangoons are definitely my favorite!!! About 2 months ago, my best friend from Worcester came down & we got Bamboo Express delivery. They delivered fairly quickly. She also agreed that their crabrangoons are delicious ?Vegetarian options: I know they have options like "vegetable Lo Mein". They also have a "vegetarian delight" dish.Dietary restrictions: I don't eat red meat or pork products. So when ordering, I request chicken fried rice, and chicken teriyaki & I've never had any issues.

I love eating my Chinese food from bamboo express, they are the best food around .I did try other places and the food it’s not the same .My only 4 stars means nothing bad it’s just cuz the food comes in plastic containers now and it’s much smaller portions. But everything still tastes just as delicious.Parking: Don’t need to worried about parking ever , cuz there parking to everyone and so many space to even if they have Taylor swift concert playing at any night . True story .

The girl working was the only one there. Dining room was closed so take out only. She was doing her best, but food took an extra long time even though I’d ordered ahead and didn’t taste right.

Egg rolls were bland, dumplings or as they call them ravioli were okay. The beef with peppers and onions were average but good. My opinion is that the chicken wings were too big.

Decided to stop in to wait out the rain and I cannot believe how amazing the food and service was!!!!! Everyone who served us was incredibly helpful and friendly, and the meal was one of the best I’ve ever had. We ordered the Beef and Broccoli, Pork Fried Rice, Sautéed String Beans and the Hot and Sour Soup and were blown away by every single item! The meat and vegetables were incredibly fresh, everything was so tasty, with complex flavors and served piping hot! The food was super filling and satisfying without being too greasy, and the portions were HUGE! The Hot and Sour soup was less than $4 and was literally life changing, it was so good. The food was prepared quickly, the restaurant was clean, well lit, and quiet, and the service was great! This experience in general blew me away and I am so glad I stopped in!
