I'm gonna admit to a bit of bias as I live close to El Centro and with Covid and everything i really want them to survive. That being said.. I think the food is totally solid. Have never dined in but have had takeout about a million times and have never been disappointed. El Centro provides decent food, selection, and consistency. I personally like the chicken enchiladas. ( I lived in California for over a decade, so I do have expectations around Mexican food). Not sure why the average ratings are so low (just went to another 3 star restaurant this week and it was barely edible - come on yelp!), but I am personally rooting for El Centro to get through this!

The service was great (especially during the pandemic), and the drinks were good. The food was certainly fine, but not especially flavorful. I would recommend this place to people who enjoy Mexican food but have a sensitive palette, but it might not be the right place if you eat a lot of Mexican.

This place is doubtless one of the coolest place in the area. Every time I visit this place I am absolutely happy. They hold their very high level service and the highest level of cooking they serve. You will be always satisfied with this restaurant. Warmly recommended.
Really liked the guacamole, and my daughter's quesadilla was good. But my enchilada was bland and the al pastor inside was overcooked. My wife's food also was on the bland side.

This spot is the one I always prefer. I eat in plenty of restaurants but to this one I go the most. The team is very cordial and the cooking they cook is so delicious. I never miss an opportunity to have a good meal here. I recommend this place with pleasure.
