Gen sushi is our go-to neighborhood sushi joint. They provide high quality sushi with notably larger pieces of fish than competing restaurants in the area. We particularly enjoy the way they prepare nigiri! They have friendly and welcoming staff and we appreciate their early opening time of 4 PM.

This place is only take out. Not the worst I had but certainly not a 5 star place. The fish was not the freshest. The combo was ok. The rice was fine, not great. The prices were far to high for the quality. With 100$ at Sakanaya you can get the freshest fish and make a great sushi dinner at home. Sorry but won't be coming back.

The food is absolutely amazing. Their service is pretty good. and I cannot express enough how delicious the food is although sadly there is no more dining in, the food has not dipped in quality a bit. I like the black pearl role, wasabi role, and also the shrimp shumi. Overall a great place

I got the Salmon lovers roll and it had a very fishy odor and odd texture, I only had a few bites and threw it away. I ended up getting food poisoning, avoid at all costs
