A gorgeous restaurant in the heart of Belmont Center. The restored firehouse building is absolutely stunning inside and out and suites the vibe of Il Casale perfectly. The food is good. It's authentic Italian. It's changed over the years. It may have been better in the early years, but it's still good. The service has been pretty darned good over the years, but upon last visit, 03/27/24, I was simply amazed at the kindness, which started at the front door with the host. Everyone was kind, genuine, confident, and knowledgeable.

Lovely place. Food is good. Service, excellent. Meatballs were on the smaller side. The open kitchen is a bit loud with dishes crashing. I loved rhe cocktails. Menu is a la carte and a bit pricey, but that's the neighborhood, I guess.

When I come back to Boston, this spot will definitely be getting another visit. Their homemade pasta is to die for. I definitely tasted it but there definitely wasn't enough for my taste buds liking. And their drinks were made to perfection every single time. The server was amazing and very attentive to needs of everyone I saw him interact with, including myself.

The drinks here were so delicious and well balanced! Highly recommend the Fragola Basilico or the Casale Old Fashioned. The place was completely full and on bartender was working service bar and the actual bar, did very well! The food was beautifully presented and tasted wonderful.

Delicious as always. There was a little delay in service and the dining room was fairly tight, but we enjoyed everything we ate and drank.

Really enjoyed our first visit here! Started with the meatballs which were excellent, and for my main had the tagliatelle bolognese, which was a classic bolognese done really well. Finished with the tiramisu, which I will order every visit here for sure! Also, they know how to make a great espresso martini. Can’t wait to come back.

I was here at the bar a month or so ago with a friend and had a great experience so I brought my mother here for her birthday and had an even better one! Service is thoughtful and smooth. Food is really delicious and the cocktails are on point. They have one of the best Bolognese - ever. I've also enjoyed their Chicken Parm, Veal Saltimbocca, Calamari. My daughter is 6 and rather picky and loved their pasta with butter and cheese. What really brought me to write this review is I put that it was a birthday in the Open Table reservation but didn't say anything the day of and they brought over a scoop of gelato with a candle -- it really made our night. Nothing like it in Belmont - quite the gem!

Spread love everywhere you go. Fantastic spot. Top 5 Belmont.

Good food and good drinks but expensive. Then we find a sneaky "Kitchen Appreciation Fee" on the bill. This fee is not just on the food, but the drinks and sales tax too! This dishonesty ruined the experience - we are never coming back.

Absolutely loved this place. Chicken Marsala was smooth and luscious with spinach and sun dried tomatoes...just perfect. Aranchini were little balls of truffled perfection. Great service; unobtrusive but there when you need it. Great

Food was really good.- a bit pricey but good. The atmosphere was nice. The waiter was friendly and looked like Hugh Laurie! Lol definitely worth coming to.

Disappointed with our latest visit, Sunday night, to one of our favorites. Service was spotty. Our main guy, Chris, was great, knew the menu and really knew his wine, but the guy who brought the glasses gave mine to my partner and I got hers. Chris saw the error and we switched glasses. Big problem was our appetizers, having to wait 15 minutes or more. Excuse given was they got packed out on the sidewalk, which takes staff longer, and they don't have enough. Owners don't care, just want to max their profit. So diners don't get what they're paying for. Hope they don't damage their brand. Food was great as usual.
