“Tried Smitty's for the first time. Not a huge bar style fan, but love all pizza. Was in the area, so i crossed it off the bucket list. Was quoted 30 minutes for the pizza and ready when I arrived. Went with the Ultimate pizza. Good amount of toppings, didn't specify, but it was cooked well done. Decent overall taste. Some grease to be expected from the meat toppings. Sauce is okay. Crust had a good crunch along the edges and flavorful. Pretty sure the edges are laced. Very little flop. Ran the numbers on my scoring system and the pizza gets a Google 4, 6.5 out of ten on the scale.“

“Tonight was my first time trying J's and let me tell you it will ABSOLUTELY not be the last. I have grown up in the cape cod/ southern MA area my whole life and I felt like I had tried most of the good bar style pizza places and somehow this one slipped through the cracks.We ordered 7 pizzas for a large group and everything came out PERFECTLY cooked. It didn't matter if the pizza had a bunch of toppings (gold fever chicken, pineapple, and bacon) or simply cheese, the crust was crispy, buttery and delicious, the cheese was perfectly browned and all of the ingredients were clearly high quality. We were nervous that all of the toppings on some may make it difficult to eat but each piece held its own and the ratios of everything were spot on!Not only was everything delicious but the prices are reasonable, the service was immaculate and everything about J's Flying Pizza has me wanting to come back for more. I hope if you are on the edge about trying this place you give it a chance. “Let me start with I was not very happy with the sandwich I received, when I arrived back to my work I opened up my meatball sub and it was cold, I wish that the clerk had told me that we are just opening up and the meatballs are still not ready. But what could I do I was a good 20 minutes away, so I ate it cold. The meatball sandwich was still delicious even though it was not hot. That is why I still have it a 5 star for the flavor of this sandwich but not the service I received. I will definitely try again hopefully the balls will be hot.“

“Oh yeah, I recommend the Grove Street Tavern. The two bar pizzas we ordered were incredible. Came out of the oven piping hot. Talking about anticipation, eh? The steam coming off the pizza brought a cacophony of scents to my head. Ground chourice and red pepper. Nice crust that held up well to the toppings. My bud ordered a mushroom and green pepper pie. We reluctantly shared. The veggies and cheese combo with that crust was insane. The sauce was just enough for my liking. The beverage list was a hit when I saw one of my top brews, a Fiddlehead IPA brewed in Vermont. Ordered one up. I also tried a local brew, but this essay is not a beverage review, but i know what satisfies me. Can this joint get any better? Friendly and efficient hosts answering your questions, taking your orders, getting your drinks. Small business where the customer is both treated well and fed well. I know that I only had a pizza, but that is what I came here for. Maybe I'll try another menu item on my next visit, maybe not. Looks small from the parking lot but very qwell laid out inside. Clean and comfortable bar. Adequate space to move around. I suggest that you check it out for yourself. I might see you there because I will be back to GST. Addendum: As expected, I returned came 2 days later. This visit, i had them configure a sausage and green pepper pie. Marvelous. Nothing more to say besides try Grove Street Tavern for yourselves.“

“Steak tips were amazing, cooked perfect and so flavorful. French fries and moons of mozzarella were good, you can tell the fryer oil is clean from a good fry color. Hubby got cowboy burger and clam chowdah and enjoyed both. He raved the clam chowdah was delicious. Our server Steve was amazing and attentive. We had a great night minus a few obnoxiously loud people there which is not the restaurants fault. We will return for sure.“
“We Liked This Place I'm not sure why there are so many poor reviews about this spot? This is a rustic little bar/restaurant with pizza in the name, but they serve pretty much everything. We had lunch here. The gentlemen who served us was very nice, the food came out quickly and was excellent. We did not actually have the pizza, but everything else we had was good. “This place is a hidden gem. I got a chance to spoke to the owner, Keroles, and he was extremely friendly and welcoming. I have tried his meatball, steak tip, chicken pharm, and sausage pharm subs and they were all great. The bread was crunchy but not chewy and the flavor was right. His cheese pizzas are also a good choice for on the go and it is not greasy. Definitely going back to try out more of his menu!“

“I've always been pleased with their pizzas! They are so busy sometimes that you can't even get through on the phone which is frustrating. I don't think that's their fault being too good. However, they charge extra for using a credit card and use compostable plates instead of boxes now.
