Robert ..

Just went there and got take out. Both my children parm & burger were both burnt, not over cooked, burnt. So bad I did not bother call to tell them, because I would never go back there. Staff was nice but food 0 out of 10.

a&b's burgers has been a decent local spot to get a quality burger or steak tips for a few years now, until the other night's disappointing experience. they've taken some things off the menu, including the honey butter that used to come with the steak tip dinner. my mocktail was not good, you can see from my previous pictures that Shanti made the best drinks but i didn't recognize any of my 3 favorite bartenders here on a wednesday evening. it took a very long time to order, and i didn't feel like our server checked in on us at the right time. i would see her walking around the restaurant, serving other tables, it's not like she wasn't doing anything, but i considered just going up to the bar more than a few times to get what i needed (replacement silverware, butter). we started with the cheeseburger egg rolls instead of the brussel sprouts sans bacon, mistake. they were okay, but not flavorful and extra oily. i got my usual steak tip dinner which was more rare than medium rare, and the mashed potatoes were extremely chunky and not smooth like usual. i had to ask for butter, which is easier at the bar but took about 20 minutes to flag a nice gentleman down who kept helping our table since our waitress it seems was the only one serving the entire restaurant. i did recommend the 'a burger' to my friend which he loved, so the whole meal was not terrible, but i would have gone somewhere else if i knew my meal was not at the end, we decided to forgo dessert based on our service and the unimpressive meal. i believe the 3 owners came out towards the end of our meal and i thought about telling them how i felt disappointed as a semi-regular patron but this is likely my last visit and unfortunately it was unfavorable, but it hasn't always been. consistency could be better because when it's good, it's really good. ambiance: 3/5 food: 3/5 drinks: 3/5 service: 3/5 A&B Burgers: 3/5

We went in recently for a late lunch, got the mac n' cheese and fries, they use a nice smoked gouda for the mac n' cheese which was delicious. Husband got a turkey burger, I found all their burgers to be a bit small, for the price, and this is a burger place, they portions should really be a little bigger on the burgers. I ordered a wine, I think there are multiple sizes, the server didn't ask what size I wanted, and I ended up paying $16 for a glass of rose'. I'd go back, but, not in a hurry to do so I'm sorry.

This restaurant was a disaster. The staff seemed both defensive and confused. Our first round of drinks were made of different liquors, but all tasted a little bit the same as though they had been shaken in the same shaker. The smell of ammonia coming off some of the glasses and drinks was repulsive. We switched to simpler drinks, but they were wrong also. I ordered a cocktail with lemons, but I got limes. It took three requests and 25 minutes to get lemon slices. Someone else ordered vodka with lemons and she got coconut rum with lemon, orange and lime. A third Guest ordered rum and she got nothing but was told they were looking for a bottle of the rum down in the basement. We finally figured out that the vodka drink somebody was served, was actually the rum drink that they were supposedly looking in the basement for. The fruit in it was rather strange, but the guest drank it anyway. And for some unexplained reason the waitress decided to bring a second weird, coconut rum drink with three kinds of fruit. We were surprised when we saw the bill and realized that we had been charged for the unordered second cocktail, which nobody drank. For dinner I ordered a salad which came with chewy dry steak tips. I asked for them medium rare but they were overcooked. The guests who ate hamburgers said they were delicious. One guest had an appetizer order of chicken wings as her meal. She ordered them without sauce, so maybe that's why they were kind of dry. Our request to speak with the owner was met with explanations of how he was busy in the basement. Maybe this is a good restaurant that just had a bad hour.

Had the best meal there last night! Onion soup with tons of cheese and delicious. Salmon cooked perfectly. Even my 15 year old son was impressed. Keep it up A&B! You're awesome!

Unable to accommodate a party of 8 with an elderly mother who didn’t prefer to be seated by the cold door. Made party wait 45 minutes for a table under a cold air shaft instead.Owner was, to say the least, rude. Shouldn’t deal with the public.Waiter lovely. Food good. Much better places around.

We went when there was live jazz one evening, the server asked if I wanted anchovies oh my Caesar I declined but later I was curious. The server brought me out anchovies. And I ate them with my chocolate milkshake. One of the best nights ever.

We sat at the bar just before it got busy. Once the restaurant started to fill up, the two bartenders had a lot to deal with. What started as good attentive drink service went downhill quick. I wanted a pain killer, but they had no cocoa nut cream. So I asked for a captain and coke. No Captain Morgans!!! We wanted one more drink but we didn't get any attention. So we just decided to cash out after waiting more than 10 minutes. The food was good. Hot and prompt. The cheese burger egg roll appetizer was interesting. Mostly an underwhelming experience.

Great burgers. Simple fare. Love the music nights. Saw the Far Out on a Saturday—really fun vibe. Then returned for Tom Palance jazz on a Thursday. We had to wait a little for our food on second trip (no big deal at all) but manager approached us and offered us a free app as an apology. Great service.

Joined friends for Galentine's brunch. We were the first table seated of the morning. 2 orders were wrong, one mot as described and it took a while to get more coffee. Definitely not the same level of service we've had in the past. Maybe staff were new (or drinking the coffee themselves to wake up)? My specialty cocktail was delicious r though and our server couldn't have been nicer!

Our waitress was wonderful, and we were given a free appetizer because even though we had a reservation, we still had to wait 20 minutes for a table, with two visibly open tables. They were apologetic, but very busy.

We had a fabulous time there. Our waitress, Stephanie was so attentive and had a great personality. The band that was playing, The Far Out, was excellent!. They weren't overly loud and we could still hear each other talk at the table! We certainly will be back again....to eat and also see that band!!

My husband and I had our wedding rehearsal dinner at the Beverly location in July 2021, we welcomed our son in January 2023, and were ready to celebrate his first birthday January 2024, and we knew exactly where to hold the party. We were seeking a casual celebration for our son, family, and friends. Nancy assisted flawlessly in the planning and preparation, Eric and the team guided the day of to execute a comfortable, enjoyable, delicious get together. A&B proved excellence once again. Thank you to your team for the success in celebrating another milestone.

I would definitely go back. We were a little slow to be seated, despite reservations, but the food was excellent and the prices are ver my reasonable. I actually got the Poke Bowl, which I would highly recommend to anyone not wanting a burger. My girlfriend got a salad and a side of sweet potato fries, both of which were excellent. Our server was great, and all over a mistake the kitchen made, and promptly refilled our beverages.
