Scone

“Literally cannot stress enough how this is the best coffee in the area... maybe even the North East. Any time I have to leave town I get upset because I wont be able to have my usual vanilla cappuccino from the best staff around. We are SPOILED! 5 stars is not a high enough rating.“

“The Northshore breakfast sandwich is purely addicting and has become my occasional goto. However, I do feel that they get their counter staff from the RMV reject pile. If I'm paying $18 for a really good breakfast sandwich and a very average cold brew, I do not think it's too much to ask for a smile and to be thanked for my business. I was standing with three other customers and we were all in agreement.“

Breakfast Sandwich

“This was a close walk from our accommodation and it did not disappoint. My mom and I were immediately greeted and given some time to choose what we wanted for coffee and food.I got a fall special that was better than any pumpkin spice drink from Starbucks or Dunkin and avocado toast. My mom got an iced Americano and a bacon, egg and cheese on a croissant. Our food and drinks were exceptional! The atmosphere was laid back and relaxed with music that is not loud. A wonderful spot to get some work done as well in their booths, at a table or at the counter looking out the window people watching.If/when I make it back to Salem/Beverly, I will make it a point to stop back in!Highly recommend.“

“As a family who loves to have a family game night this was the perfect place to change up our normal routine of snacks & games at home. The popcorn was a table favorite, & the kids got to end the night with milkshakes. As a family of 5 who goes out to dinner often we can honestly say the cost of playing the games didn’t affect the bill as much as we thought. We read so many reviews about people complaining about the fee, but to be perfectly honest tonight didn’t cost us anymore than if we had done dinner & an activity somewhere else. We spent 3 hours here & everyone enjoyed our evening.Definitely a new favorite family night out.Kid-friendliness: We have three kids ranging from age 10 to 20 & they all had a good time!“

Acai Bowl

“OK not to be dramatic but I would eat here every single day if I could afford it. I have literally driven here from Swampscott through downtown Salem during rush hour when I am craving an açaí bowl because I refuse to go anywhere else -- like, hands down the best bowls on the north shore. Close second is The Juicery in Salem. SoBol never skimps on anything & everything is soooo fresh and delicious every time, without fail. When I go in, it's usually teenagers working and they are very friendly and positive which I feel is rare these days, they are not sitting on their phones and being rude, they are genuinely customer-oriented and that speaks to the owner of the store and their ability to staff young people in the workforce. The store is always clean and there's always parking. The options for add-ons are more than any other place in the area--shout out to their cookie butter, it's heavenly and I always get extra. I rave about this place and if I didn't work full time and have a business already, I would probably work here LOL. Can't wait until the next time I get a coconut bowl with plant protein blended in, extra goji berries and extra cookie butter!“

The Nashville Hot

“The sandwich was fantastic! In the end that’s what counts. I gave it 4 stars because this is a lunch place in an industrial center… and it took well over 20 minutes to get the most basic sandwich they offer. And the place was only 25% full at the time. It was way too long to wait for a lunch crowd. Tighten that up and they are awesome.“

“I love Grassy Roots, expensive but worth it. Quality ingredients and a super friendly staff make it worth the trip to the new location. Wenham was easier for me but up the road and not too far into Beverly. The juices are just what the doctor ordered...literally!!“

“Beverly is known as a place with great coffee. And new ones keep coming here too. All are good coffee. Atomic has the best coffee in my opinion. Only place I like as much (believe it or not) is the coffee at Beverly Whole Foods. I also like Kaffmandu, Nero, What's Brewin', and others, but Atomic is clearly just a bit better. I only drink decaf and find the taste so rich without being bitter. They have all the types, all the kinds of milks, and they have a decent food lineup too. When I go, I go because it is reasonably priced, food is great quality and quantity and coffee is wonderful. For breakfast there is a bowl I get that is fine, not fantastic but I keep getting it. Their breakfast sandwich is all made to order and quite good. Their lunches are better than the breakfasts in my opinion. They have a wonderful tuna melt that is quite generous. And they have the best grilled cheese. So good. Their sweets are limited to choose from (muffins, scones, donuts, maybe one other thing) and all come from Coffee Time which make great things. I'd rather they come from AJ Bakery, but they are still good and reasonably priced for sure. I always bring things home for the fam when I go for coffee. Every drink and food is made to order, and it is sometimes difficult to find chairs. A very popular place for sure.“
