Cassis Bakery made my wedding cake and delivered it to the venue. It was so beautiful and looked better than I even imagined. Everyone loved the flavors, almond mocha latte and caramel fudge, and thought it looked amazing as well. I will highly recommend Cassis Bakery to everyone that asks.

I don't know if they changed hands, but I had the worst experience for my sons birthday cake.When I arrived there to pick up my cake ,it says open at 8 am. The place was still closed at 8:30, you have to ring a buzzer to let them know you’re there. When I entered the whole place was empty with nothing displayed. When I got my cake they didn’t give me the right box , my cake was sticking out because the box was too small. When I got home not only did my cake got buttercream everywhere and destroyed the the top but when it was served no one literally ate it. The cake was nothing like I described it to them how I wanted it. It didn’t have any whip cream when I told them I didn’t want buttercream . It wasn’t sweet! It had wrong cream and fruit. Very dry! No flavor at all . I paid almost $60 for an 8 inch cake. You’re better off going to whole foods at this point for cakes because for sure you will get a better cake and cheaper for my experience. I’m not in to supporting big chains but I tried to get something special and stay local and supporting small pops and moms shops. I guess that wasn’t that wasn’t my experience .

I have been ordering my cakes and cupcakes from cassis for several years now. I order way in advance because my daughters birthday is New Year’s Eve and it’s tricky around holiday schedules for most places. But Cassis has always gone out of there way to meet with me around my daughters party for pick up. Last year they did an amazing Ariel cake for us, and it was truly amazing. We got it gluten free that year for some family members. This year with the pandemic we didn’t have

If you are taking items home, make sure you check your box before you leave the store. I ordered 2 items and when I got home (an hour drive), one item was not what I ordered and it wasn't even something I liked.
I recently planned my husband's 60th surprise birthday party from out of town and didn't know a thing about the bakeries in the North Shore Boston area. I decided to go with Cassis Bakery for the cake, based solely on reviews. Wow, what a great decision! I shared a picture of the napkin I was using for the party, and expressed the type of "feel" I was looking for in a custom cake to serve 20 via a couple of email exchanges. Any anxiety I had about the end result immediately dissipated when I first saw the final product. The cake was absolutely stunning, way larger that I expected, delivered on time, and of very high quality. The raspberry mousse filling and moist cake were a huge hit with everyone. I would highly recommend using Cassis for a custom cake order-delicious!

I have never stepped foot inside this place, but have had a wide variety of their deserts at parties (maybe a dozen different parties over the course of a decade or so). They range from very good to "holy crap what is this magical treat that has entered my mouth?!" Seriously though, I am told the owner specializes (maybe went to school for French pastries) and it shows! The french cakes and pastries specifically are always out of this world. Can't recommend their French cakes highly enough!

I hadn’t planned to go here, but wound up parking pretty much in front of it, so I went in for a look. There are so many delicious options, it really is hard to choose!! Plus, many are cute as well as how good they look to eat!! We bought 2 mini cannolis (personally, always appreciate having small ones as an option) and a brownie with chocolate chips. Felt like it took forever to choose, because I wanted to try pretty much everything. They have different coffee flavors; we each bought a different flavor and liked them + they were hot. Very friendly staff, and very patient with me, while I made my decision; they can give advice, based on what you like, if you want. I’ll be back when I need to bring desserts somewhere!! I’ll also be stopping here when I am back in Beverly!

Cassis Bakery Inc. is definitely the best place to go to if you are looking for a delicious and beautiful cake for a special occasion! They helped to design and created this truly amazing cake for my husband's 30th Birthday! The customer services is exceptional! I highly recommend them! There is nothing impossible for them! They also did our wedding cake and we will definitely be back for our future occasions. Thank you so much for a continuous joy you bring to all our events!
