Food was great, service was awesome. It felt like they invited us into their own kitchen and cooked us a delicious home cooked meal. A hidden gem.

The sweetest owners serve up delicious food with organic, fresh ingredients. Charming and delightful spot for a classic breakfast.Vegetarian options: Mock sausage is Morningstar brand, lots of vegetable omelette fillings and veggie specials

The food is cheap, but incredibly delicious and the portions are generous. The ladies that serve the tables are a family and they are a riot! The atmosphere is humble and comfy. It feels like going to grandma's house for breakfast. This is not fast food. It's not a chain. The staff will make jokes, hug you, and make pamper you. But it is at a leisurely, enjoyable pace.

Great place for slow, relaxing food and chit chat with the family owners. Great menu and ask for the chai!

My husband has been raving about the wonderful food and welcoming experience he had in this haven of home cooked delights! Can't wait to go back with him!

Terrible service. We had to extend our parking before even getting our food because they took so long to serve us. They even took forever to take my money at the checkout (it's cash only). Food was pretty good.

Like having breakfast at your best friend’s house. Instantly comfortable. Engaging and funny conversation. Fantastic food! Home made corn beef hash and Peach/pecan pancakes — all so good! If we lived in the area, Marika’s would be a regular stop.

Marika and her mom are the most awesome, down to earth, all around good people you’ll ever want to meet. They were extremely welcoming to us out-of-towners. The food was so good and the portions large. The prices are unbeatable too. It was the best discovery we made in Beverly. And we hope to see them again!

We stumbled in for breakfast while in town from western Mass. The food and the owners brought us back again the next day! I wish we lived closer so we could go every weekend!

Just want to add to my review of a few months ago: went in this really cold (for end of March) morning. Marika took my order for coffee and told me it would be a couple of minutes because the CUPS were cold and she needed to heat them up before she could pour coffee into them. That kind of love and attention is what brings me back.

Marika's is like a diner, but what makes it special is you feel like you are part of the family, not just a customer. Don't go there if you are in a rush, but rather enjoy friendly conversation and good comfort food at a leasurely pace.

Always incredible food. Very European atmosphere. One can relax, take your time and chat with locals.
