this quiche is too salty. the crust was flaky, but it was luke-warm and tasted like it was made a day or two earlier. i spent nearly 30 bucks on a breakfast for myself. dining area is kinda cold and uninviting. i wouldn't return.Parking: just walk or ride a bike.

Im not surprised this overpriced establishment is closing for good. I ordered an iced latte and it was over $9. That is just absurdly egregious. This isn’t Paris, London or New York City. It wasn’t even anything special, Dunkin Donuts quality.

I paid $30.00 for a slice of banana bread and this avocado toast. For size reference, all the toast slices equate to one piece of sourdough bread. If that was the only factor I wouldn’t be writing this review, but the thing that gets me is I waited over 45 minutes and had two employees note that I was waiting a rediculously long time, one asked me what I was waiting for all together, but neither apologized. I don’t know if it was because I was by myself that I got my food after other people who had came even later than me yet got served first, but it was really not nice or the way it was handled.

Just writing this review in response to Kaleigh Halloran's review. It is absolutely tasteless of your friends to seat themselves at a restaurant with food from elsewhere. It's no different from seating yourself inside the establishment with food from elsewhere. Tell your friends to check their entitlement. I don't even like this place and I think it's just as pretentious as most Beverly residents, but your review was particularly insufferable.

Delicious food, great vibes. Highly recommend. Truthfully I didn’t want to make recommendations because it’s so good and wanted to keep all to myself. Lol.

I was always a big fan of Tartine for the ambiance and food/beverage. I am not usually one to write a review but I've never experienced anything like this before as a customer. This morning, I went there for a coffee with two of my girlfriends. They had gotten a coffee and bagel sandwiches from a neighboring cafe and sat at Tartine's outdoor patio while I went in to order from Tartine. I purchased a latte and a pastry. I came back outside to sit with my girlfriends, and no sooner did the owner come out and tell us to leave because my girlfriends had food from an outside place. Monica, the owner, said that it was "tasteless" to do that and "wasn't cool" for us to sit on her patio with food from another establishment. I replied that I was a paying customer of Tartine, and her response was "all you bought was a croissant." I informed her that I had ordered a latte as well, but was still waiting on it. She then went on to say that I could stay seated on the patio, but my two girlfriends had to leave. She was incredibly rude and condescending throughout the whole exchange. Meanwhile, there was not a single other customer sitting on the patio or waiting to sit on the patio, so it's not like there was a line out the door that we were taking up other "paying customers" seats. I will definitely not be back to Tartine, and am truly shocked that this is how someone runs their business. Belittling customers for essentially not spending enough money in her opinion- THAT is tasteless.

This little slice of France ?? is a recurring favorite of mine. Soups are to die for, and the tartines are inspirational. This time, I treated myself to an iced Macha latte with blackberry. Best. Drink. Ever. They have increased their pastry options, all of which look delightful and no doubt are, but I did not indulge this time. The atmosphere is the real prize. Minimalist tables, chairs, clean lines, sufficient space between tables. Relatively quiet, and they leave you in peace for as long as you care to stay.Parking: Downtown Beverly is a hard place to find easy parking, and they are making it harder by adding bump-outs to the sidewaljs that remove parking spaces. But there is a municipal lot only a block away that will usually yield a spot.

This artisanal cheese and French bistro ham with cabochons was the perfect balance with texture, flavors, saltiness of the ham and perfect balance of crunch and softness of toasted French bread. It had it all! The asparagus soup was a nice pairing, although I could have had two other choices. I’ve been thinking this week about what constitutes a really memorable meal. This one! I like how the employees are paid a proper wage and this is accomplished by charging the real price of service at the time of purchase. Thank you, Kenneth Glover

Love this place for lunch. Great food and choices. A little on the pricier side but worth it. Order first and then they bring it to your table. I like there is a help yourself water station. Loved the salads and backed goods

Tartine is the best thing to happen to Beverly! The best coffee and ham and cheese croissants. 10/10 recommend. Really beautiful interior as well which doesn’t hurt!

My 2 girlfriends and I dropped in for lunch before our concert at the Cabot. It was our first time here and the first thing that struck us was how bright and airy the cafe was. We ordered at the counter, very courteous service (and it’s a “No tipping” establishment) and piping hot food and drinks were brought to our table. We all had quiches which came with a choice of soup (there were 4 types today), salad or a fruit cup. Everyone agreed the quiches were delicious and we are enjoyable our soup, salad and fruit cup. I was a little worried as it consisted of raspberries, blueberries, a blackberry and sliced strawberries but to my surprise the fruits were really sweet despite being out of season. We finished of with a pear and almond tart and an apple cake which I had with the turmeric chai latte. I was again very pleasantly surprised that the cakes were not very sweet which was just the way I like it. I forgot to ask them to warm the desserts up so we ate it cold but they were delicious anyway. I. Short, we will definitely return to try the other items on the menu.

A beautiful bright airy cafe with fresh baked goods, sandwiches and good coffee. Plenty of cozy areas to work
