Great sandwiches at a great deal. We got the bbq chicken bahn mi. It's a good place to pick up something to eat and only for only $7!

I love this place so much. My boyfriend introduced me to this place and I can't help but to come back for more. The bahn mi sandwhiches are AMAZING and I always get either the cold cut or the bbq pork. The service is amazing and very quick. The ambiance of the store is little and dainty, but they get the job done. I love this place with all my heart.

So this is a funny little place in Chinatown because it's not Chinese it's Vietnamese. I've been frequenting here and grabbing a sandwich or a spring roll referred to as fresh roll for at least a decade or two. The sandwiches are always fabulous. My favorite on the crunchy extremely messy crummy rolls which are delicious. Is the beef sandwich with a variety of vegetables and they pickle very tasty. I've posted some photos. You definitely have to try one. And don't forget to order extra nothing Vietnamese butter. It's freaking amazing. As for the fresh roll. You always get two whole shrimp plus your veggies and noodle in a nice thin wrap and it comes with some fabulous peanut sauce. I could drink the sauce it's so great. Now the people behind the counter are extremely efficient but a little bit on the rude side. Basically you go in you order your food then they ask you to go outside and wait because there's only about 3 feet where someone can order food so on a rainy snowy day it's not the place you wanna head out to but on a sunny day during good weather definitely, you'll always see a crowd or at least three or four people standing out front on a nice day, waiting for their sandwiches and food. As it's in Chinatown the parking is extremely tough so plan ahead just as if you're gonna go to any other restaurant in Chinatown even if you're just picking up a sandwich or say a prayer and do what everyone else does, double park and hopefully not get a ticket. This place is well-established and has been there for approximately 20 years give or take and the food is always good.

This is my go-to spot for Banh Mi in the city. I always get the Nam Nuong Banh Mi and they never disappoint. Keep in mind that there's no seating here so you'll have to take the food to-go.

Always a must visit when in Boston! Service is fast and I love their bbq pork! I hadn't visited in several years and now there are no tables to sit and eat. Oh well, still worth it!!

Nice people working, made the sandwiches really quickly, and it's great they have lots of clearly marked veg options. It's a really good cheap place for takeout! It's a tiny place where only one person can enter at a time to place an order and then you wait outside while they prep the food. No seating. The faux meats are all soy based. I wish they had a vegan sauce for the sandwiches instead of mayo, as they can be a little dry. Otherwise great!

literally so yummy and so cheap. It's the perfect lunch break place if you work downtown, don't want to spend a ton of money, and you have a little time to waltz downtown, grab your sammie, and eat with coworkers

I went here after my doctor appointment to get some subs for the bf and I. We both do not like butter so I asked for extra pâté, First Lady didn't understand me in Vietnamese. So a different lady took my order, she said of course I can add extra pâté, SHE LIED TO ME I came back to Lynn to only find barely any pâté on the bird, no Chilli peppers. This place does not make great Vietnamese subs.

Fast service, super cheap banh mi, and good portion. The only thing I would change is the ratio of filling to bread, but the bread is still delicious and flaky!

The sandwiches aren’t that good but hey, I’m not hungry no more

It's all about the bread and pickled vegetables. My friend introduced the place to me. I got the traditional deli meat.

This spot is literally tiny! Hole in the wall is the exact perfect description. Upon opening the door the space is literally smaller than any elevator I've been into. But the food is pretty good. Was happy that they sold "Banh mi xui mai (meatball) and "bot chien (fried dough with egg and scallion") quick turn around time and food was delicious. CASH ONLY!

For a quick work lunch, I stopped by 163. A small line had formed outside, which looked deceiving since the establishment had little standing space inside. The establishment kept its covid-era screens and take-out only configuration set up right next to the entrance. I only waited a few minutes in line before ordering. I ordered the cold cut combo bahn mi ($6.5) and shrimp rolls ($6). The bahn mi sat premade, and the shrimp rolls only needed a few minutes for staff to assemble. After ordering, I only waited 5 minutes. The cold cut combo had extra crunchy bread. The shrimp rolls' rice paper seemed a bit tough. Otherwise, the meal seemed inoffensive. While I would not actively seek out this establishment, it offers variety during the work week.Note that the establishment only has take-out and only accepts cash.
