My girlfriend and I have been planning for a while to have a date night here for her birthday, so I had a lot saved up for this place to impress her. The interior and exterior of the restaurant was beautiful and it definitely caught our eye; I even loved the wine-rack hallway inside, it had a decadent aesthetic. With all the windows from the outside, we really hoped for a window view, but I guess it wasn't our night (we did appreciate the quieter room we were seated in though!). I ordered a medium-rare filet mignon with a side of lobster macaroni and cheese, while my girlfriend ordered a medium-well bone-in prime strip with a side of kale & broccoli cole-slaw. My steak was perfectly cooked from the wall to wall medium-rare to the crispy surface, and I loved the lobster macaroni and cheese to pair (bread crumb crust is impossible to hate). The cole-slaw unfortunately did appear to be more like a salad, and I found the crust of my girlfriend's steak to be quite burnt. I am proud to announce that we both enjoyed the moscato however, perhaps being one of the sweetest white wines I've had. For dessert, I ordered a cheesecake, while my girlfriend ordered the buttercake. Although the only thing I enjoyed was the crust (the cream cheese portion was quite bland), we both LOVED the buttercake. The pecan icecream pairing along with the caramel sauce just made the buttercake such a valuable addition to our evening.

My husband and I went to Del Friscos for our first anniversary. The table and view were amazing. We got the bacon appetizer and had to send it back because there was a thick layer of peppercorn crust that overpowered the bacon. My husband ordered the Chilean sea bass. He loved the crab fried rice that came with it but said that the fish wasn't seasoned much. I got a filet, and it had way too much peppercorn on it (similar to the bacon). The salad, sides, and desserts were yummy, but I had a strong peppercorn flavor in my mouth all night which wasn't fun. We were disappointed with our dinner.

Made a reservation for Saturday before Valentine’s Day. Had to cancel the day before. 24 hours notice was given. Girlfriend was sick and we did not want to bring germs into the facility as a COVID precaution. Management told us we were all set and not to worry. About a week later we were charged a $100 cancellation fee. Called restaurant and were given the runaround. Told me to call Landry’s. Landry’s doesn’t answer. Called Open Table. They tell me to call restaurant. Called restaurant they tell me to call Landry’s. No one wants to help. Have disputes transaction with bank and called local News. Sad as we had a membership rewards with this restaurant.

Del Frisco's is an very good to excellent steakhouse, not a great steakhouse. The food can be fantastic... and today it was... however service detracted. Perhaps more staffing is required to provide the service they claim they stand for. We stopped in on Thanksgiving Day. Starters were all great... Butternut Squash Soup, Harvest Salad (greens, walnuts, sun dried cranberries, warm bacon dressing), Crab Cake, Wedge Salad. The Turkey Special for Thanksgiving was really tasty... Slow Roast Turkey with Stuffing, Mashed Sweet Potatoes, Green Beans.... the bird was tender and moist. Ordered the Rack of Lamb for the first time... really nice lamb. Sides were perfect, served hot (not always the case in past visits): Mashed, Corn, Creamed Spinach. Nicely done... so important for sides to be great in high-end steakhouses! Dessert included Pumpkin Cheesecake and Pecan Pie a la Mode... both winners. The desserts here always are. Wine list very pricey. Some good selections by the glass. Was happy to see the kitchen has raised the bar most recently. Now if we can see an increase in the level of service, Del Frisco's can rise up to the top rungs of the ladder of excellent steakhouses in Boston.

Great location. Amazing Atmosphere. Good Staff. Great Food. Amazing Old Fashion drinks. Great scenery. Overall, this is a great restaurant to eat to relax, and have a drink. I can't wait to go back there again.

We went to Del Friscos with our recent college grads to celebrate not only their graduation but also to celebrate their recent August Birthdays. They each brought their boy/girlfriends. As we were not able to have the parties we planned this was a no expense spared dinner. Covid has changed the world but I was unprepared for the level of basic service etc given the menu cost. Mario was a great waiter and was very attentive, the let down was in the presentation and ultimately the quality. The apps were great, I highly suggest the meatballs and the calamari. The folks that had the salads all said they were good. The side dishes were all exceptional, we had the kale salad, the lobster Mac and cheese, the mashed potatoes, the asparagus and the kale salad. Generally most were happy with their meat, but one in our party had their filet overdone, I had a mini filet with shrimp, I chewed into a piece of fat, and I know it is my thing but after that.....that is the reason I order filet. The shrimp were ok, but I have had as good at $19.95 restaurants. The best thing was the deserts! Mario brought out a collection of deserts to celebrate everyone's milestones and the presentation and and quality were tremendous. So the end result is, $670 plus tip for 6 people, with restaurant Covid challenges affecting ambiance and service, some mis steps in food quality and plating that was more like longhorn than a top tier steak house. I know it is challenging for restaurants now but I would have expected more, at this point in their adaptation to the pandemic.

Entry area was unkempt with debris and plastic bags blowing around from the outside. Stairway seemed like it hadn't been clean for weeks... needed a good sweeping... surprising in this Covid period. Not a welcoming environment. Was a little disjointed getting seated as we had to wait quite a while at the host stand even though the place was very empty during our off peak visit. Once seated, was nice to be outside on the deck that runs the length of the dining room. Took a long time to get our first course, but the chow was excellent once received. Drink service also spotty. Our salads were great, filet mignon perfectly cooked, excellent. Crab cake also great. Sides: Mashed potato... corn... both excellent. Need to tighten up things here, but the chow was fine and nice to sit outside. Still, at these prices diners expect more than what is being delivered here. Don't expect the normal Del Frisco experience. Hopefully, things will improve when Covid issues are gone.

We had a great evening here. Delicious cocktails. Great wine list. We all had different cuts of steak and each was well prepared and delicious. We (3 of us) shared a generous sized dessert with some left over! Great friendly service.

We visited on valentines day. Our food was great but due to our experience after dining here I wouldnt suggest this place at all. Because theres zero reason for what has happen to us. Our visit was for a table of 4. My fiance, daughter, cousin and myself. Our bill was 509. And some change. We had my cousin pay his bill plus add his tip to the amount he was going to put on his credit card. Total 180. We paid 430. Cash for our side of the bill includes the cash for tip. So my cousins is total 180. The slip says 180 a line thru the tip that says cash. Total says 180...everything seems great. Until he looks at his bank statement he was charged 509.00 what!! And why!! So he calls the restaurant they say someone will call back. I call the restaurant same story. It's not until I call and say let a manager know we are going to come up there to discuss this bill. That someone calls my cousin back. So they are going to reverse the charges and only charge him 180. But it wont go into his account for 3 days. And he has other Bill's that are now bouncing due to them taking more then they should have. More action should have been taken for this royal mess up. So if you go here watch your bank or credit card statement god knows who else was charged double. We were also celebrating 2 birthdays and that didnt even get acknowledged. Disappointed in what I thought was a high end place.
