We had the pleasure of Jack at our table providing genuine hospitality, as we requested that he should order for our table of 12. He executed perfectly and our guests were able to just enjoy the company and ambiance. Food was amazing and just what we needed to have the full experience.

Nice atmosphere and wonderful waitress, but the food is very underwhelming for this price. Came for the lobster risotto which turned out to be very salty and cheesy and quite disappointing. The lemon ricotta cake tastes store bought, very dry to be served in a restaurant like this.

I was taken here for a Mother's Day dinner... the vibes were nice, dim lit, nice music playing in the background, staff were very welcoming, family friendly, you'll find people of all over here. I don't remember what everything was called but I do remember the everything that we ordered was so good and cooked to perfection; from the apps and entrees to the drinks and dessert. Loved everything about this place. Definitely stop by here for a date night or any special occasion!

This visit was in Boston restaurant week. And dinner at peak hour is not a great move. I felt it was rushed. My niece loves this place ❤️ and it was her choice to dine here. The service was amazing. Drinks ? wS fabulous ?. I am going back, but not in the restaurant week. They deserve a second chance ??.

When I’m home visiting my family we always stop at Abe & Louie’s. She gets the cheeseburger, always juicy and cooked to perfection, and I get the grilled salmon on top of the Pear and Goat cheese salad. Today we had Chris as our waiter and he was so kind and attentive. You can’t go wrong coming here for lunch or dinner. Always top quality service and food.
I am not a big fan of American steakhouses. Having said that, some wonderful seafood items as well as delicious French onion soup are also offered at this nicely old fashioned restaurant. Since I love to eat steak at a French restaurant, it is a bit weird to have a steak without frites, but their hash browns were thick and crunchy. Their pork chop was so delicious, too.

WOW! We didn't have any reservation for this night so when we were able to walk in and be seated immediately we were happy. The restaurant was packed and the ambiance was 10/10 with dimmed lights in an elevated and classy scenery. We loved our servers, they were so kind and always had a smile on their face! The Tomahawk steak was amazing and the garnish on top enhanced the taste of our steak with our olfactory senses! We also saw a first: a lemon cover so the lemon seeds don't spread over our food -- wow! The desert was great as well. The server brought it out and poured over the butterscotch in front of us. What a great culinary experience in the most relaxing, cozy, and elevated space!

I had a late lunch with my beautiful mother today. I haven’t been to Abe and Louie’s in a few years and it’s nice to come back and see that their quality of food and service is still amazing. I appreciate their host at the front (young, nice guy) who was very accommodating with me as I’m a picky individual when it comes to where I sit and what chair I’ll be sitting on ?? (I have back issues ??♂️) I was properly greeted and welcomed within 2 minutes (the standard for a restaurant of this caliber) and offered to check my coat in. It’s nice when in the first 5 minutes you feel welcomed, it really sets the tone for a nice meal. Aryona our waitress was was very friendly, read our pace of meal well, offered a nice tasting of wine, and provided great attention, detail and service! Thank you Aryona for making my time with my mother very enjoyable and relaxing. I had the clam chowder (10/10) to start, and a NY Strip cooked to a perfect medium. Overall, I have 0 complaints and am more than pleased once again with Abe and Louie’s. Other steakhouses in Boston not going to name names should send their chefs and managers to Abe’s and take notes ? I will continue to refer my out of state colleagues and friends/family to here.
