I went hoping for a burrito to go. I pictured something full of beans, rice, guacamole and veggies. They couldn't deliver. I ordered the closest thing on the menu and ended up with a dinner with refried beans and not quite cooked through rice on the side. The burrito had a sauce that tasted pretty good, but it was flat and unappealing otherwise!

I love this place! The food is so good and the prices are SO inexpensive. The couple who runs it is very sweet. It's a great traditional Mexican restaurant.
Great service. Food is pretty damn good and the prices are INSANELY good. This restaurant has extreme value for everyone, whether you're looking for a side or a comple platter. Inside there is plenty of space. The decor is a bit outdated, but the is also very nostalgic to a family style mexican restaurant that most grew up eating from.

I love this place.Food is not fancy, but great with a very reasonable price.Environment is cozy like a home, quiet and relaxing, no loud music in the background. You don't need to shout or yell to be heard. I just like to go there with my family after a long work day and chat comfortably.The lady waitress is so nice and friendly.

I love soup. And the Sopa Verde is the best I've ever had. It is teeming with fish, shrimp, scallops, and clams (although no clams that particular night, so they filled in with the rest.) The cilantro base is so light and delicate. This should be a main attraction in a gourmet Mexican restaurant, but it's available in a little joint on Centre for just $10.50. My head swimming with that fish, I took another friend tonight and had the scallops in tomatillo. They were expertly cooked and tender. The rice was cooked correctly, and the sauce was mild. The salsa (complimentary, and so are the chips) is definitely not commercial. Please go; they need the customers.
