I visited the Alibi with my friends this past weekend, and I loved it! We originally wanted to grab a few drinks on the 2nd floor bar of Liberty, but we decided to grab some food at the Alibi first. Although we didn't have a reservation due to the last minute game time decision, the hostess was still able to provide us a spot at one of those short cocktail tables near the door instead of turning us away. The restaurant itself was very busy, and everyone seemed to be having a great time! I especially dig the fact that this building used to be a prison and they kept it as their theme. For the food, I had the calamari and their duck entree. Both dishes were super delicious! The duck dish was $45 but the portion is very reasonable and justified in my opinion. My friends had the lobster ravioli and one of the chicken entrees. They both were very satisfied with their dish as well. Overall, my friends and I had an awesome experience at the Alibi. We will definitely be back to visit again!

Horribly rude staff and bouncer, they confiscated a real id claiming it's fake and we had to wait an hour to get it back by literally calling the cops to argue for us in person. Even if an id is fake, it's illegal for a bouncer to confiscate personal property, and especially for a real ID, this is extremely unethical. I will never be returning to this establishment and don't recommend anyone else does so.

Great hotel and staff--but this place was a huge disappointment and an awful customer experience. Ordered a whiskey up and got an eye dropper of a drink...more than 30 minutes before closing, they turn up the lights and turn off the music to basically force people to leave. Ruined our night.

Loved the atmosphere and story behind Alibi. We originally went to visit liberty tree but they were so booked we shuffled into alibi and had the best time. We ordered the prosciutto pizza as an app and I still think about it to this day. Drinks were great, food was fantastic and our server was so sweet! Highly recommend Alibi for drinks, apps and dinner!

We stayed at The Liberty Hotel and had drinks at the Alibi. If you like bourbon then you must try the drink "Admissable in Court". So flavorful with just the right l hints of Apple and cinnamon. If you like whiskey then the "Locals Only" was delish. Don't forget to see the hanging Xmas trees upstairs where the Clink restaurant is and after 10 turns into a night club.

Super cool/unique cocktail bar and history and architecture behind it is really interesting! The drinks were also delicious! We had an old fashioned, an espresso martini, and then one their seasonal drinks (Admissible In Court) and that one was honestly one of my favorite drinks I think I’ve ever had. We would definitely come back!

Writing this as someone who frequented Alibi very often a good decade ago. What’s always been true: the ambiance is fun! Nice decor, very private feeling, go on a random weeknight and it’s super intimate too. The service is great, I went recently and we had a lovely server who was helpful and pleasant. The drinks have always been great—and still are. I went for a sangria with an autumn twist (cinnamon!) and it was perfectly put together. The ONLY downside (for me), is I preferred the more casual/bar menu from long ago! The current menu includes food all from Scampo, and almost everything was just too heavy! Think lots of butter, sauces, deep frying. I went with a cod/gnocchi dish, was well-made, but the heavy, creamy sauce is not sitting right with me hours later.I’d love to see more lighter fare. Maybe tapas or small dishes. It’s tough to keep things light when going out if the dishes are so rich. Definitely works for a sit-down restaurant, but for a bar/lounge it’s just a bit much.

Really interesting venue, the vibe was incredible. Was incredibly disappointed in the drinks, however. They were pretty pricey and sub-par (one that I had tasted like a grown-up version of jungle juice). The flatbread pizza was good, but wish I would have just stuck to beer instead of wasting money on disappointing cocktails!

I tagged along on my husband’s work trip so I camped out in Alibi on my own for three dinners in a row. Hailey looked after me each time and made great recommendations. Really enjoyed my time there!

Bartender asked my friend if she was pregnant and then comped our drinks and said it's his obligation to ask if he sees a "pudge in the stomach"
