Edit(4/1/24)So, if you look at their response, it appears that they suddenly have sub categories regarding Gluten Free items. That is not the case. Pop inside this location and you'll clearly see the nachos labeled as "Gluten Free". You can check online too. There are categories for Vegan and GF, but no further delineation. Nothing can be labeled gluten free if it's coming out of the same oil as flour containing items. The employees seemed to disagree with each other as well, as they weren't sure what entails cross contamination and what doesn't. So there goes Amelia's "training".Listen, I'm all for an honest discussion, but I'm not going to have the business attempt to claim the moral high ground here. It's clearly wrong. You can either acknowledge that or not, I don't honestly care. You can source whatever chips you want, but as soon as their fried in the same oil as a flour taco shell or whatever, it's not gluten free. Plain and simple. In a word, average.I had high hopes for this place. I walked by and the "Gluten Free" caught my eye (I'm Celiac).Unfortunately, call it either lack of knowledge or false advertising, there seem to be major flaws with their "Gluten Free" claims.Namely, their chips/anything fried. They're advertised as "Gluten Free" despite being communally fried in the same oil as flour tortillas. That's not "Gluten Free". That's barely "Gluten Friendly". Either way, I was annoyed, but hopeful that my burrito (in a GF wrap) would be a 10/10.It was alright. I honestly would've preferred a chipotle burrito bowl, or a Qdoba burrito bowl. The GF wrap is a big step in the right direction, but the inaccurate GF claims a half measure at best, and dangerously misleading at worst.Dietary restrictions: Chips are NOT gluten free.Fries are also NOT gluten free.

You can get very good Mexican food and beer here. The buritos, quesadillas, etc. can be put together individually, different types of meat and vegetarian and vegan are no problem. The staff was very friendly. I can only recommend!Vegetarian options: Anything prepared with tortillas can be topped or filled with vegetarian options.

Food is incredibly low quality and very expensive. Stick to chipotle or avoid all together.

I really want to like this busy, cheery place. I ate here when I visited Boston last year and could not wait to come back. And tonight's burrito was delicious too. But the guy making it gave me only a third the amount of meat that he gave to the tall, beefy guy just ahead of me. It shouldn't matter if I'm smaller than the other customer, I still paid the same amount of money as he did so I should get the same amount of food. The other thing was that there was so much lime squeezed into the guacamole that it was in edible. So since my first time here was so good, and since it's a small, mom-and-pop type restaurant I am willing to give it one more try in the future.

Amelia's is for everything. Amelia's is for celebration, for sadness, for joy, for hard days, for sickness and for health. Amelia's chimichanga is a balm for the soul. I no longer live close enough to walk, and it makes my days that much sadder. Amelia's has friendly staff, delicious food, and a lovely dining room with lots of seating for a Boston establishment. I miss Amelia's daily, and any day when I can eat Amelia's is the best day ever.

Props for keeping your menu affordable and catering towards students in this otherwise expensive area!

Loved it, it's a build your own joint serving delicious Mexican fare. I had a chimi loaded with my favorite things and had leftovers which is very uncommon for me.

Very nice people, very mediocre burritos. Glad to see tofu option but both rice and bean options are completely flavorless.
