Went for a Celtics playoff game. The atmosphere did not disappoint. The whole restaurant is directed towards the GIANT tv screen. The game is playing, people are cheering, and the drinks are flowing, it's a fun place to be. Our service was a tad slow but it was busy as hell so I wasn't mad at all. Got the onion rings, guacamole, and a lobster roll special as appetizers. The guac was pretty good for a sports bar but the chips were too salty. The onion rings were standard, but the lobster roll was very good. My entree was the Banners' burger and that was decent as well. The burger was a little overcooked and the fries were oversalted, but it was still good.In the end, I would really only come here for a big sports game because of the giant tv wall. Otherwise your local sports bar is arguably better because it's probably cheaper there. The food was oversalted and the tv was a TAD too loud to be there for more than a couple hours watching a game. However, my experience was still positive and I will be back for more playoff games.

Literally the worst service I’ve ever experienced. I sat at a table for over an hour and never got a chance to order anything at it was like I didn’t even exist. I took my business elsewhere.

Been here twice, both times Staff act like the customers are an inconvenient burden. Bad, slow customer service. Apparently the great location means enough business that they don't have to actually care if you're there, or not. Go somewhere else.

We arrived 5 min before our reservation and checked in. We stood beside the host stand for 20 mins, at which point I checked my phone to find I had been text my table was ready 10 mins ago. I went back to the host and let them know I was never told to check my phone. Another 10 mins later we were seated. Service was slow, but the food is better than expected for a sports bar. TV screen is bigger than you have probably ever seen at a bar

Pains me to leave such a bad review cause the food is awesome and so is the atmosphere. Seriously 10/10 for both. The staff is horrible. I live in the area so I come here all the time to watch games with friends. Every time I walk in the door though my first impression is the hostess. She could not act more disinterest if she tried. It’s like I offended her for coming in. We got to sit up stairs which is an awesome spot to watch the tv if you ever get the chance. My waitress was awful. We ordered four dishes to split, but the one thing we specifically asked for was ranch for the wings. When we got the wings it came with blue cheese. So we asked the person who brought the food. Never got it. The waitress finally came around to ask if we wanted more drinks. Same thing asked for the ranch never got it. Finally a waitress from another section walked past and she brought the ranch in two seconds, props for her stepping up for not even her customer. By that point we just wanted to go, though we ate everything cause again foods awesome. So we gave the card to the waitress. She held on to the card for over ten minutes while fixing a messed up order at the next table. That didn’t sit great with us.

We went during the bad bunny concert. Service was still quick even though the place was very busy. I will knock one star, the host was uninterested. We kept trying to call the restaurant to let them know we were going to be 15 minutes late for our reservation and the phone kept ringing and ringing. When we got there the host was just standing there on her phone.

Great atmosphere to catch the game, Celtics, bruins, or the Red Sox. Massive place with a great big tv to catch the game. Wish the had the sound of the game on louder.

Place was relatively quiet for a game night, but our service was positively horrendous. We didn't get what we ordered, the child in our group got her food (a pretzel) 15 minutes after our other food came out and that was only because we asked twice. Not once during our meal did anybody ask how our food was or if we needed anything and we were done eating for 15 minutes before we had to ask for the bill. I will never go to this dump of a restaurant again

Been there twice- food is average at best. Burgers cold fries hot. Turkey club great first time- dry as bone 2nd time. Fun atmosphere and great location if going to game (which we were)

Banners restaurant was simply amazing! Great waitress and staff. Only issue was the Celtics party was not as advertised. Very little interaction with the fans and we could not hear the guest as it was to loud and only one speaker available towards the front.

Banners is a great place to watch a game. Great atmosphere! The food available and the service was amazing. Only thing I wanted more of was more of a selection for the food. Otherwise everything was great.

Made a reservation for brunch before a Celtics 1pm game on a Sunday. Website states brunch is “Available Saturday & Sunday 11am-2pm”. We were seated with regular menus and when we asked we were told “there’s no brunch today”. Very disappointing, as the whole reason for our visit was for the advertised brunch. I picked out an item on the regular menu (hot mess chicken tenders) instead, only to be told “we just ran out of that actually”. Ended up ordering a smash burger which was very tasty. The staff was very short with us, definitely not friendly in the slightest. Had to flag them down multiple times to place order, get napkins/silverware after our food was delivered, etc.Other notes: we had to wait 15 minutes past checking in at the desk at our assigned reservation time for the table to be ready. Then were seated at a middle table with maybe 5 inches on each side from the other tables. Very tight. Only 1 side of the table is able to view the screens, the other side faces the kitchen/no tvs. Also disappointing.Overall, wish we actually got to try the brunch as the website states and weren’t impressed with the ambiance. I’d say there are much better pre-game restaurants around!

Waited one hour for food that never came (two of us) while others that came half hour after us, sitting next to us got meals (table of six). Was told “kitchen backed up”. Canceled order and paid for drinks and left.

Went for the first Celtics game and made a reservation. Got seated no problem, everyone was nice - desk, waitress, food runners, managers. Food was fresh and tasty - wings as appetizers came out super fast. Place is huge and very nice inside with multi level seating.I’m mostly writing this a friendly warning - the vanilla gelato is huge. Recommend splitting.

Cool place to check out, a very upscale sports bar. There is a lot to take in here! Good ambiance and liked watching the kitchen areas.Really enjoyed the lobster roll and this crazy fireworks dessert was fun to watch!A bit of a delay in posting from a trip.
