The vibe of this place is so cute and unpretentious! Too bad the same can't be said about the service. Our server was rude from the moment we got there, barely making eye contact and making some snarky remarks. I have worked in the service industry and you do NOT take out a bad day on your customers. It's usually the other way around! Anyway, the vibe was nice to catch up in and the wine was nice. How we were treated in the beginning just soured the whole experience.

Worth the wait to find this place - it does great cocktails and has a nice vibe.Service was a little patchy when we went, including having to go find my own table after waiting a while to be seated with no one coming over, and having to get up to get the check rather than someone asking. That being said, the staff were great when they did come over and had helpful recommendations.Cocktails themselves were very good, pretty strong and quite different to the ones I’ve had elsewhere in Boston.Music is LOUD so don’t come here if you want a quiet date.Would come back for sure.

Rude service. They wouldn't let us sit freely in the bar was forced to be next to people when we didn't need to. Switched out the gin in our cocktail without telling us. Spoke down to us and didn't engage at all. I would not recommend coming here. It was also very expensive.

Such a bummer experience, waiter was beyond rude for no reason from the moment we entered. After trying to get his attention for about 15 minutes and finally flagging him, he an had an attitude and as if he was doing us a huge favor for even acknowledging us. Instead of ordering more we ended up asking for the check. Bummer that one waiter could really ruin the vibe of a place. The place also smelled a bit funky, not sure what that was. Never returning bye!

Our first stop in Boston while we waited to see if Hurricane Lee would hit. A little loud and a little hip/young for this old lady but we still enjoyed it immensely. Great inventive drinks and super service. We ordered the charcuterie as a late night supper and could have had sandwiches for a week - very generous!

Oooh la la... I don't go out in Back Bay very often but I was very glad to have tried this bar which (seems to be a new addition to the neighborhood? unsure, but I loved it!) I'm originally from NYC and this really reminded me of something that one might find in Hell's Kitchen, Chelsea, or even West Village. There you have it;) It seems quite understated from the outside but when you walk in, you want in to a great layout of bar and dining sprinkled around a central bar, where the counter wraps around the drinks- you get what I mean. Behind it, off to the wall- is an open kitchen which is also intriguing and definitely adds something to the atmosphere. We got a mix of drinks (wine) and virgin cocktails ("zero proof" section off the menu) and those were incredibly refreshing without being too sweet. Prices in the range for what you'd expect for the area.. I havent tried the food here bc.. unfortunately the kitchen was already closed by the time we asked for the food menu (somewhere between 9-10pm?) Total bummer- the only major downside here. Not sure why kitchens all close so early if the bar is open late! To bars in Boston, please keep your kitchens open into the evening :'(Anyway, the vibe here is perfect for a night with friends, dates- probably would not bring family/kids here- it gets a bit loud.. Go ahead- Ive written my 2 cents- discover for yourself :)

Great vibes in a cool basement wine bar. Good wine by the glass and Negroni list. Really enjoyed the simple decor and intimate vibes. Music could’ve been a little quieter. Our server was lovely and attentive. We LOVED the grandma slice - such a hidden gem of a piece of pizza. The eggplant dip was also 10/10. I’ll definitely be back when I’m feeling a nice wine stop with a friend or date!

Worth the search.

We have been sitting here for 40 min and the server hasn’t even come and help us. We had to get our own drinks at the bar. She was busy attending to other tables, and helping them, while ignoring us. Not sure if there’s some prejudice or slight there. Shame too because Faccia was our first date.

Very loud club-type music. Few wines by the glass. If you are looking for a typical wine bar this isn’t it.

Great little hideaway if you’re looking for a fun bar with great drinks and tasty snacks. Get the meatballs, you won’t be disappointed!
