I discovered Bean & Leaf on a recent trip to Boston. I'm a late breakfast eater and the hotel bistro was closed. Bean & Leaf popped up with a quick Yelp search and I started walking around the block. The only negative is the entrance off of Medford is a bit hidden but, once I went down the stairs, I saw a beautiful huge clean space with menu boards full of amazing made to order breakfast and lunch items. I ordered the Western Wrap and a Latte. It was made quickly and served piping hot with the freshest ingredients. Highly recommend you seek this place out!

Offering delicious fare at budget-friendly prices, this coffee house immediately greets patrons with attentive staff upon entering. The service is quick. Their breakfast menu boasts an extensive selection, featuring a wide variety of bread options to complement your meal. While the portions are generous, it’s worth noting that the seating area is limited. Just know, the place is small so it might get crowded. Conveniently, credit cards are accepted for payment.

the food at bean & leaf cafe is so delicious! the portions are perfectly sized, they leave you full but not stuffed. the spinach & feta omelette went great with some tabasco. my bf enjoyed the breakfast burrito, he said the hot sauce they put on was great. our hostess was attentive and kind. be forewarned that there is very limited seating. the seating options cap out at 2 people.
What a great find! Amazing breakfast (tried omelette with Ham and Cheese and also the Avocado and Cheese, both amazing). Big portions, warm service (the lady at the counter is so sweet!Definitely

A classic American breakfast offers a generous portion of food that may be difficult to finish (at least, I couldn't). It features delicious crispy bacon, potatoes, and scrambled eggs, making it a perfect choice for a morning meal. The restaurant is casual and simple, yet it provides everything you would need. Scones are great here, too. . The staff is friendly and attentive. I highly recommend it.

Lady behind the counter was super friendly. We ordered the breakfast burrito without the sausage. Instead put avacado in it. Also got home fries. All for around $13. Cant beat that. It was 2 of us and the lady served it to us in 2 separate plates and cut everything in half. That was really sweet of her. Food was good and we enjoyed it.

Went with my wife for breakfast. I had a western omelet, and my wife had corned beef hash. The omelet was served in a generous portion and was very tasty and well condimented. My wife said that her plate was fresh and delicious. The restaurant personnel was very curteous and helpful. Prices were average for the Boston area where the restaurant is located

Great place to get a quick affordable breakfast with amazing customer service. I got the breakfast burrito and substituted out the sausage with avocado. It hit the spot. I highly recommend and did the mention how nice the staff is!
My boyfriend and I visited this little café after finishing up at the New England Aquarium. We were googling places within walking distance that wouldn't require a long sit down meal, and this place fit the bill. The kindest employees greeted us and the gentleman who took your order/made the food was eager to offer up great suggestions and was SO patient while we made up our minds. We kept it simple with sandwiches, which were absolutely delicious, but the menu was huge!! (the super fresh fruit cup deserves its own shoutout) There is definitely something here for everyone. They even had hot food options for the day - all of which looked sooooo good. The cozy and relaxed atmosphere had my boyfriend and I talking about this place all weekend. I don't think we'll ever visit Boston without stopping in at our new favorite café!!

This place won’t let you down for breakfast. Had an incredible build your own burrito. The ingredients were fresh and the tortilla seemed homemade or at least way above your average store bought. We didn’t get any, but they have muffins and pastries baked daily. Coffee was good but you have to add your own sweeteners at the coffee bar. Would definitely come back for breakfast. Just wish they were open Saturdays and Sundays!
