We and our kids love this place! Of all the many ice cream stores on Newbury or downtown Boston this is our favorite. They have so many delicious flavors it's wonderful to try different ones depending on our mood. The service is friendly and efficient. And it's so cool that anyone getting ice cream there can feel incredibly good about giving money to a company that works so hard to do the right thing in their business decisions. Ben & Jerry's was a pioneer of using organic milk, avoiding growth hormones, cows from factory farms and supporting family farmers. They are one of the company's that sets the high mark for how companies choose to operate and do well by doing good - like Patagonia, Whole Foods, Gap, AllBirds, Levi's, Life Alive, Chipolte...

I ordered a custom cake and received this . There is an apparent smudge on top which is obvious the frosting wasn’t applied correctly and the writing is not centered! As a business that makes cakes, presentation should be a priority. This is a big deal to me as it is an ugly presentation and takes away from everything else. I called to speak to the “manager” and expressed my frustration and all she kept saying was that it looked fine to her . She didn’t even offer for me to take it back in to get it fixed. As a manager she should have understood and should have been able to propose an actual resolution to the issue.
Great place, so much better than the street stands. Great selection of flavours, shakes and sundaes.

Tried this for the first time on free cone day and it is fantastic! Thanks for the wonderful service even on free cone day! I also tried The Tonight Dough. It dles not appear to be a very popular flavor but it tastes amazing. If you like chocolate and peanut butter, you should try it!

I love Ben and Jerry’s, the ice cream is always fantastic. However, today when we were at the store my friend asked a general question about flavors to choose, and was met with “I don’t know” with no elaboration or anything. Had our server not been so apathetic, and the prices not so high (buying a Ben and Jerry’s pint from a store probably would have been cheaper!) I wouldn’t have written a review. I love Ben and Jerry’s and expected more. We were very disappointed in the customer service from as it was my friend’s first impression of a Ben and Jerry’s store. :(
